I moved to Medford this past summer, so the last ~ 2 weeks of snow events have been my first experiences dealing with snow here. Yesterday the city sent out an alert that a snow emergency would be active starting at 9pm. I live on Main St. so I rushed to move my car to a side street. However, there are tens of cars that have not moved off of Main St, and it doesn't look like they will.... Is it normal for people to just ignore the snow emergency? I get maybe it was because there wasn't that much snow forecasted, but I guess I'm just shocked that so many people ignored it and seemingly the city isn't enforcing it at all either. Why did I rush to move my car from my shoveled out spot when it
Hi all, I just accepted my first full time job in Andover, MA and I recently posted on r/massachusetts and r/boston asking about neighborhoods to move to and a lot of people suggested Lowell. For some reference, I’m a single 22M and will be moving from Hoboken, NJ. I’m looking to live with a roommate and would like to keep my budget around $1500 a month (for myself).
Here are some things I’m looking for:
· Restaurants, bars, coffee shops, parks etc. within walking distance
· Access to social activities and nightlife
Does anyone have experience living in some of the newly renovated lofts in the mills? (Market Mills, Jackson Street Lofts, 24 Merrimack, 201 Canal, Appleton) I'm curious

Just wanted to share my progress over the last 4.5 years. Photos begin when I was 17 years old, am now 21. I've always been extremely slender and lanky. I did basic body weight exercises (pushups and situps) throughout highschool but only started going to the gym in January 2021. After that is obviously where most of my progress came. I still don't have an actual routine, I just vaguely follow push/pull and try to increment the weight. Tried to go to the gym 3-4 days a week. I want to change that this year and actually follow a routine.
Regarding nutrition, I pretty much eat whatever I want (I
Took Music Appreciation 1 with her and it was awesome, so hoping she teaches the next course as well. Anyone have any experience with it? Or any other easy humanities you'd recommend?
