Relic misc card

I just hit open all the second I get relic chests and keep forgetting to save up for this. Maybe I’ll get some impulse control eventually.

We’re still officially undecided on more kids with an almost two year old but both pretty heavily leaving towards one and done, especially me. For me every time I think of it, I just can’t figure out what would be better. At the good times when our daughter is having a blast or learning or growing I’m glad I can have all my attention on her and not be chasing another kid or dealing with a baby. When things suck and she’s upset or there’s another daycare illness running through the house I’m glad I don’t have to spend energy dealing with even more problems. For just the normal day to day it’s so much easier with just one to shop and cook and clean and be able to hand just one kid back and for

Typically a gaming podcast but they have an Andor writer on today’s episode and have talked quite a bit about the show and writing process in the 30 minutes I’ve listened to.

I just sped through the new book by John Bierce and really loved it and wanted to recommend it to people here. I enjoyed Mage Errant too but this one felt like it stepped up to the next level. I downloaded it intending to read it later, but read the first sentence and had to keep going.

Thea was chiseling a particularly bitey mimic off the side of a bakery when the gods began to scream.

It’s a great adventure book set in an incredibly interesting world, with something interesting always happening from start to finish. It has a few flash backs in the first section and a couple reasonable spots to breathe, but overall is a fast paced adventure through an insane city. The world building is

The very last puzzle of the new game has a grammar error which makes it more difficult to solve and caused me to mix up some names and motivations at first. The answer for “everyone into blank” does not grammatically fit. Pretty disappointing for the finale of the game to have confusion due to that.

For anyone curious, the iOS update today still hasn’t fixed the bug with unlocks not working properly. I was hoping “cloud saves” were somehow impacting the saving and recording of unlocks, but guess that’s not the case. I’ve completed two runs on the update and haven’t unlocked the new ante. I was really hoping this would be fixed by now, it sucks a lot of fun out of the game.

First time playing Balatro and the blue deck keeps popping up that it is unlocked but when I start a new run it isn’t there. My collection also keeps having the exception marks reappear for cards I already viewed which I think may be related. Is this a known issue and is there a fix? Every discord link I can find isn’t working to check the bug reports there.

Everyone has seen plenty of the screenshots of crazy playoffs and all the traditional top teams doing poorly. I haven’t seen much discussion of what comes next. Do the expected top teams (Georgia, Texas, Ohio State etc) suddenly blow up their programs and fire the head coach and all the players transfer out due to not meeting expectations? Do the random G5 teams who won it all suddenly poach those coaches and players? Or does it all just carry on and the same randomness happens next season?

I haven’t seen one of these for Tatloch yet, and I’m pretty curious for her. I thought she was a meta unit to save for, but now it sounds like people are skipping for other units expected soon, so looking for the real breakdown of people are doing. Feel free to comment other options
