In a bit tearful as I write this but I genuinely don’t know how to find a partner and life is passing me by.

I started dating when I was 25, mainly using dating apps, and I had some nice dates and met a guy through it who I dated for a while and I fell in love with. I was happy but he switched up one day and said he didn’t feel the same way

I’ve always known what I want in life, and in a relationship but I’ve struggled to attract what I am looking for. I look for intelligence, consistency, humour, and shared want for kids in future.

Had a big long break from the apps and recently rejoined. when I get a match I send a message, always send a question based off their profile. I find it harde

I’m 30 and never had a boyfriend. I don’t actually understand how anyone manages to get a boyfriend. Everyone around me seems to have someone, I don’t even have a situationship.

I do very well socially, confident, bubbly person, yet I still feel invisible in the dating world. The only attention I ever get is a wolf whistle or random men coming up to me in the street and telling me I am hot, which makes me uncomfortable

Back when I was 25, I started using dating apps. I used to get some great matches, and I can hold a conversation well on a dating app. I looked back at old conversations during this time, and I asked interesting questions, I had banter, I could flirt easily and the people I

I’m trying to enjoy life, put myself out there, join groups and hobbies. Whatever I do however, I don’t meet people that are right for me.

What I really struggle with is that I met literally the love of my life in 2021.

We matched on a dating app even though I hate dating apps and wouldn’t use them now. His profile seemed funny, and kind and he looked lovely in his photo. He told me he had just moved to the uk (but had a British passport.) the Convo over text was just easy and fun, as someone who usually hates texting this was a positive sign.

A month later, we went on our first date. We liked each other immediately, again something that’s never happened to me, and we started dating. We

My first boyfriend was at age 25, and I look back and it’s embarrassing as I was so happy to be dating someone, I bought him gifts, planned all the dates, cooked all special dinners. I wanted to do everything right to show him I loved him and cared, but despite pursuing me initially, he never put in the same effort and told me he never fell in love

Heartbroken, I went to therapy and tried to change everything about myself. I put myself out there again and met a new guy. This time, I made sure not to put too much effort in it was nice man actually planned dates, introduced me to his friends, and he told me that he wanted a long-term thing with me. But after every day he would disappear for a

I am struggling to ever forgive myself because 5 years on, I have never met someone else I fully match with and connect with

For years I had used online dating and found it awful. That was until one day I matched with this man on bumble. He had just moved to the uk from abroad, he looked lovely and had a nice profile.

We started talking and he was one of the best people to talk to ever on a dating app. He talked about how he had just arrived for his new life in the uk (had a British passport however), that he was seeking work but dreamt of being an actor. We talked for about a month and a half until we met. I kinda kept pushing for it but he was saying ‘if you don’t mind waiting for a bit

She tells me I talk too much, when I’m a quiet introverted person, why?

I’m a very quiet introverted person. At work, I tend to only talk if people talk to me. My manager talks to me a lot though, and it’s all stuff unrelated to work like all about her daughter, how she met her husband, gossip about people in the office. I’m polite and engage in conversation but sometimes she talks at me for like 20 mins at a time and I’m trying to concentrate.

But last year she set up a 1:1 with me and said I seem distracted. I asked her what she meant by that, and she said that I am too chatty, and that work is not a place for socialising and that my other colleague has reported me for talking too much.

I have no problems getting matches, with guys that I’m kind of on the fence about in terms of attraction. But then I see guys on the dating app, that I feel an instant attraction from their photos. These guys are usually well dressed, they have put effort into their profile and prompts, I can see that they have a good job, a degree, want kids and they want a serious relationship.

Whilst when I do match with a guy, they’re just kind of very very average, have low paid careers, say they don’t know what they’re looking for, or they don’t want kids

And I give these guys a chance and I go on a date, but I feel bad because I just don’t feel attraction on the dates. I am attracted to men, I have

To me, the spark never really comes on the first date. A good first date for me is one where I get home and feel intrigued and excited to see them again

But I’m struggling with the scenario where you go on a date with a guy, it’s fine, you laugh, they’re nice. But something is missing and you can’t pin point what.

I went on date on Sunday and I am 30 and he is 25, which is outside my usual age range but I gave it a go. He was nice and friendly, we had a nice chat and a walk. But he shared a few things which were that he has adhd, that he had to quit his job due to anxiety and now works little jobs for his dad and also that he is 600 days sober.

I get home, and although I had a nice time

I feel a bit sad. Between the ages of 20 and 25, I felt doomed. That was because no guys ever showed an interest in me, so I never knew how it ever would happen

At 25 however, I met a guy all of a sudden called Mark. Mark was an absolute dear, a sweetheart, very kind and open and I had never felt such connection with someone. I felt I could be my absolute self, life was happy and good. My friends said I seemed extremely happy and at peace and it was so nice to see me like that. Until my friends pointed out I was the only one in the relationship putting the effort in, being supportive, planning activities, cooking dinners. I was oblivious to it but then I became aware of it. I felt sad and b

I want a career change but also I want to move to the USA as tired of the uk. I don’t have a degree and I’ve worked in

I’m taking an online diploma for financial advisor. I want to start my own business but don’t know where to start, then I want some USA clients, and eventually to move to the USA!

How can I do this? I’ve started an instagram page where I’m going to offer tips, and then also create a newsletter for financial advice for self employed Americans.

Hey girls I’ve been dating a guy for 5 months. Things have been going really well up to now, he’s been a genuinely sweet guy which has been refreshing. I was really starting to trust him. He said he wanted me to meet his mom soon so he’s pretty serious so I thought.

Anyway, a few weeks ago, he went on his boys holiday to Nashville. But when he was there, you know how Instagram shows you what people like now it comes up as you scroll, I could see him liking girls pics , and all of which he had met whilst there in Nashville. I know I shouldn’t look, but I saw him following a lot of girls. One girl in particular, liking and commenting on all his posts, even going back years on his Instagram p

Hi all, I need advice on my situation. I am 29 and dating and relationships is something I am very worried about, I can’t meet someone who it is right with and I’m scared I am doomed

In February this year, I was on a trip abroad solo and I met a lovely man. He worked in the Middle East on a two month on, then two months back in my country. We were chatting and he told me that he was actively applying for roles back in the uk, as he wants to be able to have a normal relationship.

When back from our trip, we went on our first date. It was lovely, but we only had one before he went back to the Middle East

We kept in communication over text for that period, keeping each other updated l. I d
