It's so alive right now. So much art. BTW I still have to finish my drawing, sorry about that!

I'm seeing all these amazing screenshots yet my game still looks like it did after release. Everything is set to ultra and my specs should be more than adequate. (Ryzen 2600, Vega 64, 16GB DDR4, 250GB SSD) I'm reading things here and there about a graphics bug but I'm not sure what to do about it. Most tutorials refer to files and lines in the xmxl file which do seem to exist i.e. are outdated.

I have no clue how to continue the main story if it doesn't give me any coordinates. I cannot find anything. Not in the galaxy map, not in the ship, not while using F.

The ship HUD is useless, only orange blobs to indicate something is there- nothing specific. Am I doing something wrong her
Hi everyone. I just don't know what to do. Let's get that out of the way. I've been at this for quite some time now and it's been hard. Very hard. Over the years, I've been over many distro's and while in the end sticking to Manjaro i3, I don't want to you to think I'm an advanced user. I can follow tutorials and edit some basic configs but that is about it.
What I'm looking for is the best of both worlds. to be able to live freely using Manjaro as a daily driver yet be capable of playing the latest games without hassle. each time I install something new. I'm aware of Lutris, I know of proton and while these are generally great, they just make things annoying when you try to run small progr
Since the last update my buds keep resetting every few days. I have to manually couple them again, go through the tedious setup with all the assistant/3d audio crap, change assistant back to ambient sound mode, turn automatic updates off etc. etc.
Anyone else experiencing this?
Hey everyone, after years of being back on Windows the Update situation has gotten so badly out of hand (Update failed = Wait for ~30 minutes * 2) that I decided to go back to Manjaro again. I'm running an all AMD system (R2600+V64) and generally everything is okay except this weird thing that keeps happening. Keep in mind that I'm no guru. Last time I left nix was because I had gotten tired of the constant fixing of everything. I'm more patient now so here goes:
The issue(s):
Kwin seems to shit on me and I can't even begin to rationalize why this happens. At every boot, wake-up or random moment Kwin just stops executing scripts (I think). I'm currently using Quarter Tiling but 2 or 3 ti
Hey everyone,
Recently I got my hands on this switch and after configuring it (It works, yay!) I noticed my desktop port (2) is stuck at around 100mbps. Weird thing is, the same Cat. 5 cable connected to my airport extreme works fine. I get 220mbps down and 20/40mbps up depending on the situation. When connected to the switch, I don't even get over 90mbps. After looking around on forums some say it's faulty cabling but that can already be excluded right? There are also some posts describing using commands though I have zero experience with Ios. I do have a console cable in case. All ports are set at auto/auto. Can anyone help me?
Edit 1: Read that I need the newest firmware. Went to the do
Hi everyone,
As a child I used to have this black box with 4 cd's which was this interactive game featuring our solar system and space in general. Most of it was just click and play videos so officially it was more of an encyclopedia. I've been trying to find it for many years now because back in the day my computer couldn't even run it without lagging. I wish I knew a bit more but the only thing I remember was the voice of someone explaining the possibilities of extraterrestrial life with a bad quality "90s" artefacted video of zooming in on a planet until you saw this weird alien.
Would be very nice if someone could help me find it again. I feel like it's obscure as hell and I'm not e
I've noticed Makita gold bits in particular have this very thin part to them. How does this not compromise the structural strength of the bit?
