Working fine for months. Started up today and it had a prompt about merging. I didn't really get it so I said sure. That did me in. Everything appears to be gone.

I saw someone recommend e2fsk /dev/... To get it back? But I cannot umount /dev/userdata. I tried stoping the emulation, Nd the music stopped while in the terminal, but it's still busy.

Still looking for guidance. But what the hell? What a foot gun.

I really love this design for a cabinet build and a local woodworker has a CNC machine and willing to do the cutting at a really good price (like, basically material + a little extra). It would save so much time and headache, I really want to go this route.

But I really want a video marquee. I should say, I purchased a video marquee already and tested it with my setup (works amazingly, super happy). So, as you can imagine I would really like to use it.

Anyway, the crux of my question, I haven't used CAD (libreCAD et cetera), and wo

I have no experience with smart watches but am looking for one to give to my daughter for middle school.

The minimum requirements for the watch are that it tells time and has location tracking (either GPS or by the apple/android "find my device" networks --- I am an android user, my wife is apple).

My daughter also does not have a phone, and her school doesn't allow them (which I strongly approve), so it would have to be something that can be operated disconnected from a "host" (granted the amount of operations are pretty limited anyway).

When I look around for something like this, I see health trackers which are fine, but don't support location tracking (Fitbit inspire 3)9, or complete

In every (almost?) there is a vocalless base heavy track that plays. For example, when Lorelei leaves the hospital in search of Luke after Rory fractures her arm in the car crash with Jessie. I think it's called "sneaky music" on the Sam Philips wiki. Can anyone confirm? Does anyone know if the full track is available somewhere?

r/mead•

Hi everyone. I've made a few beers in the past and decided to try my hand at mead. Some background, my OG is 1.100, I used champagne yeast, I did not boil the honey (just the water, and added the honey to that hot), and I did a nutrient step as is suggested quite often on mead web pages. The airlock stopped bubbling two months ago, but started up recently --warmer temps, but still in the operating temperature of champagne yeast. The gravity reading was around 1.010 before it started up again, so it's probably around <1.000 now.

My plan is to get some fining agents in there (bentenite), and rack a few gallons off to gallon bottles and flavor with some mint, maybe lavender, maybe rose wate

I brewed a stout by partial mash (6lbs of grain) two weeks ago (OG 1.060). I used a starter of California Pub Ale Yeast. It was fermenting in a fridge at 65degrees +/- 2degrees. Intense fermentation followed and filled the carboy and blowout tube. Yesterday I checked the gravity and it was around 1.030 (after two weeks), and fermentation had slowed to a bubble every ~40 seconds.

I raised the temperature, by moving the carboy out of the fridge and it's accepting the ambient temp of ~70degrees. I also swirled the carboy to get the yeast out of abeyance.

Anything else I should do? Should I re-pitch if nothing happens over the next week? In the meantime I'll have a homebrew. Cheers.

Back in January, I had a nice meal with beef tenderloin and pears (Perry St, in NYC). The fats from the beef and the sweetness from the pears paired perfectly. I decided to give it a shot with pork. The loin is rolled in crushed fennel, salt, garlic, and white pepper. Served with a cold glass of Pear Cider.

What are the best ways to test all the components of a build before turning on the machine for the first time? What are the best/recommended ways to test CPU, RAM, Graphics Card, PSU, motherboard, and hard drives for failures before putting everything together?

Thanks. (for hard drives, I've used an external USB connector).
