Fraud is off the charts this year. We have been hit multiple times and of course the credit card company always protects the victim and the retailer gets screwed. What's the best way to defeat this? People are coming in with stolen cards and fake IDs to buy larger ticket items and I need a way to double check that they are who they say they are. Is there an online service, like one of these background check places, that do anything like this?

I wrote this in a comment of another post but then thought it may be of interest to other ND fans. In my lifetime, Brady Quinn has always been my favorite QB. But over the last few months my favor has shifted to Ian Book. So I did a comparison to see if it was just a question of Ian being the more recent. Here are my results for anyone else who may be interested:

Until yesterday, I considered the game "fixed" and was 100% happy. I have 2 friends that I play with and we had zero issues - life was good. Since the update yesterday, neither of my friends has been able to launch the game (PC). It shows that damn bird intro and then crashes for them. They tried 14 times and crashed every time. I crashed once and then it ran (only tried twice since my friends couldn't join and play), although the game seems different. I used to gold solo CT15 with ease and now I'm dying on CT14 (Pyro's Blacksmith mod problems maybe?).

So everything was roses until yesterday - now we can't even play. Anyone else having this problem?

I play pretty problem free most of the time. Every now and then a get a "Fatal Error" pop up and the game crashes when I'm launching into a mission - it sucks, but it's rare. And usually I can go do another mission and come back to it and it works fine. However, EVERY time I try to do an objective from the incoming transmissions, it crashes and gives me the same error. And no matter what I do, it gives me the Fatal Error.

Anyone having the same problem, or know how to fix this?

I can solo CT15s, but I'm not super confident I could do it with another player, but I can easily do T14s. It's currently 6pm so I'm starting in an hour - I'll be sending out codes here to those that are interested. And if no one is, hey, I'll just solo grind for a while! But I'm down to help if anyone needs.

I am playing now and ready to help! CT13s seem to be the most time effective.

Like everyone else, when the inventory restoration happened, I ran home and logged into my game to see if I got any god rolled gear. No luck. So I've been playing on my Techno (main) since then, grinding away...

Then I logged into my first character, a Pyromancer, that I had shelved a few weeks ago. I popped open my inventory, and voila! God roll items.

The point being, if you started with one character, then switched your main before they did the inventory restoration, you may have a surprise waiting on your first character. I did.
