Hello, I got a hair transplant around 1.5 months ago, and like everyone else got also recommended to take finasteride + minoxidil to boost and retain the results.

The clinic that performed the transplant suggested to use oral finasteride and topical minoxidil, and that's what I've been using for the last month. As I've learned in this sub, topical minoxidil is toxic for pets, and I have a cat at home. I asked about replacing minoxidil with an oral version, and I've learned that in my country (Poland) there are no minoxidil pills available at all, it could be prescribed separately by a dermatologist and then custom made in a drug store.

I had a visit to a dermatologist today, and it left m

Pytania i Dyskusje

Slow progression game with short game sessions

Seeking Game Recommendation👀

So Warcraft Rumble is officially dead, and I'm looking for a replacement.

What I want to find is a preferably online game with short game sessions (up to 10 minutes) and with a sense of slow progression over a long period of time (call it roguelite or gacha). Something that I can play while watching (or rather listening) to YouTube, and see some significant progress after looking back to where I've been a year ago.

In the past before Warcraft Rumble this role was fulfilled by Archero, Hearthstone, Soul Knight, Binding of Isaac, Slay the Spire. I wonder what modern (or upcoming) games can scratch the same itch

Best local coffee roasters?

Life in Warsaw question

I'm looking for freshly roasted beans for an espresso machine. So far I've been either buying random stuff from Coffeedesk, or 1 kg packs from Kiwi Garden / Tommy Cafe. I've also tried Etno and Green Cafe Nero a couple of times but wasn't impressed. I think it's time to switch to a better supplier and be more consistent with it, so I'm curious which local roaster do you consider the best. El Cafetero? Hayb? Anything else?

My normal internet speed is 30 Mbps. I'm using a Wi-Fi dongle TP-Link TL-WN725N on my PC. It was working fine for a few years, but a couple of months ago I've noticed that often on the initial boot my speed is limited to 0.05-1 Mbps for no obvious reason. Here're some other observations:

  1. I'm using dual-boot Linux and Windows. The issue occurs on Windows only, and it never happens on Linux
  2. Removing dongle and inserting it again fixes the issue, the speed becomes 30 Mbps as expected
  3. Disabling Wi-Fi and enabling it back does **not** fix the issue, the speed remains <1 Mbps no matter how many times I retry
  4. Wi-Fi drivers are updated to the latest versions
  5. I do no see any suspi

Fiat withdrawal

Crypto.com App 📱

Could someone share the stories of successful fiat withdrawals of large sums (5 figures and more)? Were the money released without any issues from CDC? Were they accepted at your bank without issues? Did you withdraw to a traditional bank or to fintech like Wise or Revolut? Did you spread withdrawals in smaller chunks? Did you do everything in short period of time or spread over months?

We need community avatar reviews

General Discussion 💬

Whoever does the reviews on Reddit side is not doing a good job. AI avatars and clipart pieces are getting approved all the time. It would be great if reviews were also delegated to the community - we should have a special page (or simply a different subreddit to save developers' time) with all pending avatars. People would be able to post AI allegations, or link clipart used, or explain the copyright violations, and based on that it would be much easier for Reddit team to decide whether to approve or deny a given avatar.

To provide some recent examples, this is AI, [this](https://www.reddit.com/avatar/s

So this issue was haunting PVP players for almost a month. In like 30-50% of matches we were getting loading bar multiple times, it seemed like the game was crashing and reloading in the background. And usually when loading was finally finished, you would find out that opponent actually started normally way before you, and they already spawned a substantial army moving in your direction.

I haven't seen anyone mentioning it, but looks like the issue is fixed. On Thursday we had a global problem with both raids and PVP queues, but after it got fixed, I haven't experienced late start again. What about others? When was the last time you had this problem?
