Hello friends. Ive recently purchased a grom to learn wheelies. My main commuter is a V Strom 1000.

I was planning on buying an RSC stunt lever because ive heard that can help a lot. I keep hitting my ring finger popping the clutch.

The thing is I also plan to teach a few friends using this grom.

I also dont know how much I will love one finger. I think two will feel more natural coming from the V strom.

My question is basically, should I get a 1 finger lever because you can still squeeze 2 fingers on it, or should I get the RSC 2 finger lever?

Thanks!

Hey everyone, was wondering if I could get some advice on this.

I'm getting an SP 404 MKII for Christmas. I'm an adult so it's not a surprise because I basically bought it for myself and my mom is giving me half the price of it for Christmas, still exciting though lol.

Anywho, I wanted to get one because I want to learn the resampling workflow and make beats to scratch over.

My gear is 2 x Reloop 7000s and a Rane 70. The 70 is a 2 channel mixer. I was thinking id do:

Deck 1 ---> Mixer <--- SP <--- Deck 2

That way I can sample records on deck 2, make a beat with the SP, then play the SP through channel 2 on the mixer and scratch with deck 1.

Was wondering if this would be a

Saw a post about the DDJ 400s going for $350-$400 on eBay.

If you're getting your first ever DJ controller, don't buy one of these for above retail price.

It breaks my heart, and I say that as someone who just sold their 400 for $395. I got that thing used without a box for $170. I sold it used without a box for twice that.

You know what's cool about the DDJ 400? It used to be cheap and easy to get your hands on one. That's why it was always the go to.

Now you see people selling them for parts, selling them with broken buttons, missing switches, for over retail price. That's the exact opposite of what made it cool.

It's the accessibility, the fact that it's plug and play. The fact

Hey all,

I recently got a polyend play and I'm in love.

I really enjoy it's ease of use but I don't have any synths to sequence with it besides some compact synths that are all one voice.

Recently some of my DJ gear has become worth more than I had purchased it for so I am unloading some of that stuff to dive more into play.

My question is, what should I get to pair with the play?

I heard the polyend tracker goes great with play so I was considering that.

Are there any other synths someone can recommend that would pair well with play?

Thanks for any help.

Hey everyone,

I DJ as a hobby and want to create a video DJ set using AMVs for this event I will be doing at a videogame cafe in a few months.

I don't know much about AMVs besides that I can watch a bunch of cool ones on YouTube.

I was wondering if there was a website similar to a DJ record pool where I could download AMVs that have high quality audio and video.

Downloading from YouTube doesn't work for this both because of piracy and that the quality from YouTube usually sounds horrid on big sound systems.

More than willing to pay monthly subscription or a few dollars per video, I just don't know where to find a website like this.

Thanks for any help.

I don't have the ability to scientifically analyze every waterfalling change brought about by smurf queue.

I can however discuss the fundamental philosophy of why smurf queue diminishes competitive integrity.

The reason I and many other people learned to love league is because of its meritocratic nature.

Meritocracy - People are judged solely on ability and not outlying factors beyond that.

League was a game where people could get good, or even great, by playing a few games a day, focusing, taking a break, and coming back tomorrow.

For this to be a reality, however, you actually have to be playing against people equal skill or better than you. Nobody ever learns anything from a free

Hey everyone, I was wondering what y'all thought about these two devices.

Basically, I want to stream a type of performance on discord that will involve DJing while playing a videogame.

I don't need to produce professional-level music and am not a classically trained musician. The type of work I would like to be doing is more a performance, which I need music for that I would like to make myself, rather than publishing the music on a platform.

I really like the Polyend Play because it reminds me of the circuit tracks in many ways. A device that makes it easy for you to get in the groove and finish songs. The generative features of this device make me really interested.

Being that I am no

When I first started DJing I joined BPM supreme record pool because the YouTubers I watched were all hyping it up. So then I joined, and was excited to start converting my Spotify playlists to make my DJ sets. Unfortunately I realized the majority of my favorite songs were unavailable on this record pool. That was a pretty big bummer and I felt like I chose the wrong record pool. While that may be true, I also learned a new way to use record pools.

I feel like while it was annoying to not have some of my favorites available, I also realize that overtime I will get those songs because I like them, even if not immediately.

The second thing is that it forced me to explore and find new music
