I’ve been offered a position selling HVAC installations door to door. Their pitch is that they will install a new high efficiency furnace or water heater with a financing plan and the customer will end up saving money in the long run on their electricity bills.
They’re offering $400 commission per installation, and a base salary of $2200/month if you make less than that in commissions. My current job as a technician is paying $2800/month.
They promise 1 on 1 training/job shadowing with an experienced rep for the first month, then they provide a company vehicle and gas card for traveling around the city. I’ve read D2D HVAC sales have been banned in a couple other provinces in Canada due t
I’ve been shooting competitively for a couple years, currently B class in IPSC Production. I’m thinking about switching to either Classic (SS) or Production Optics (CO).
My choice is largely influenced by sticking with 9mm ammo, as I already have a good progressive reloading setup.
Does it make more sense to switch to Classic or Production Optics? Should I wait till I make A class in Production? What influenced your decision to switch?
Considering buying a new Nissan Leaf Plus, and wondering what everyone thinks. I live in BC, and currently have a beater with over 100000km on it. I could get $16000 in tax credits combined from the federal and provincial rebates along with by scrapping my current vehicle. The Leaf Plus would come out to $46000 all in, so I'm looking at $30000 after credits.
I could probably get a few more years out of my current vehicle before it needs serious maintenance. However, I suspect that the current situation where the federal + provincial + scrap-it rebates all stack together won't last too long. Gas price in Vancouver is $1.63 right now and only going up, currently spending almost $200 a month
