I'm more used to realistic racing games, where even with a controller there's a range of steering I can do. One technique is to hold the left stick forwards and then gently nudge it to the sides. This does not seem to work with this game since it will pick up very minor innacuracies and the car will wobble. I've turned off all the assists, set counter steering to 100%. Keep seeing mention of "advanced controller settings" but cannot find these settings at all. I only have the three basic settings.

I'm loving the game so far but the shadows really bother me. I can tell I can get high quality shadows when I get close to objects and they get sharp, but just a few meters away and they get all jaggy and acne-y. I'm not playing in VR and I know my PC can handle a higher shadow distance. Is there any config file or something where I can change this?

I was gonna make a joke post about how terran is imba because they get all the funny bugs while other races have like a battery that charges too much, but I didn't manage to think of that many to fill the post to begin with. I remember once we had massive thors in actual tournaments, but otherwise not much that comes to mind. What are your favorites? Bonus points if you have video of it.

I've looked into sc2links but everything's unusually disorganized, instead of the names of the matches there's the names of the streamers (like winter or wardii). Are there properly timed vods (since I don't intend to watch every single match)?

took me a while to realize this but the "spikes" in the starting corridor are actually pointy hats, on thousands of dead bodies. I was wondering then, is it the bodies of the people that tried before me? Did they die on the fall or something? why am I the only one wearing clothes?

Hey, hopefully it's fine to ask about the QT gui here. I'm trying to have a command line utility work with the integrated terminal, but I'm not able to set nvim so that the colors match in a pleasant way; the main reason is that no matter what colorscheme I use, the terminal colors seem to stay the same except for background and foreground. The CLI program uses escape codes for default terminal colors like cyan magenta etc, so it behaves according to terminal configuration. Basically what I want to know is that if there's something I must enable to have my colorscheme also affect the terminal, or if I can at least change the meaning of the colors for it.
