I’ve noticed articles about steel studs being 30% less expensive than wood, and being strong.

I want to build a workbench with a wall cabinet and tabletop surface. Wood sounds “easier” and “hefty” to withstand the weight of tool/power tool storage.

However, while I’m a newbie so I don’t know the nuances, articles seem to indicate that steel studs will take longer for newbies but cost 30% less in materials and have several advantages over wood.

Thoughts?

After seeing the u/phillymexican MOD BAG post I wondered what the mods’ view is on how to best evaluate and choose guns.

I believe he liked Glock 19 pistol and a Daniel Defense DDM4 V7 rifle.

How should a 5’3” female evaluate guns versus a 6’4” male? I’d imagine there are reliability factors, but what about size & weight & caliber & round length & round type? What’s the balance between power and recoil? The wife and I have done some indoor range shooting and can try out a large variety of guns and round sizes to try out the power and our accuracy with those guns and rounds. But the kickback on some are crazy and other rounds are smaller and feel easier to control.
