Mike corrected me a lot at the Olive Branch Cafe in the American Can Company. He was the first guy to put up with my bullshit fourteen years ago and teach me how to run a kitchen. I can't speak for everyone in this sub because I moved away years ago.
But, I wouldn't have my ethic. I wouldn't have my attitude. Mike, ya taught me how to sling pies, keep a book, and be calm. Fuck a show, fuck a story, be on time, and keep cooking.
Next time, when I'm home, I'll take a shot of Jager for ya at the Holy Ground. Just because I know ya hated that shit.
So, just as soon as I managed to get DD to take our menu off their app, Postmates have reared their fuckin’ heads. They’re proving to be a much bigger hassle as they have no contact number listed on their site and insist we set up a merchant account to get in touch with them. I’m not fuckin’ doin’ that. Any tips/ideas?
Saw a new one tonight. Mid-service, I watched a server shoot a souffle of honey mustard like a fucking shot. I thought her specced out shift meals were gross but, goddamn.
Hey, y'all. So, here's the skinny. A former co-worker of mine is opening up a new location and has been looking into Southbend brand equipment. Specifically, a convection oven and a gas stove/oven unit. However, all of the reviews I've been able to find for him are fairly lacking. Any of y'all worked with their stuff before? If so, how'd they work out for ya? Any opinions are greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
A heard.
I'll show myself out.
Edit: Thanks for the gold. Y'all are more than welcome to steal my stupid wit.
