This seems pretty straight forward but for some reason I'm unable to get this to work. I have three .xml files that I need to copy into a specific folder that may exist under the users profile folder on Windows 10 devices. These .xml files likely are already there and they need to be overwritten if so. These commands will be executed as local system so I shouldn't have any file permission issues.
$Source = '.\config.xml', '.\customize.xml', '.\login.xml'
$Destination = 'C:\Users\*\AppData\Roaming\Avaya\Avaya one-X Communicator'
Get-ChildItem $Destination | ForEach-Object {Copy-Item -Path $Source -Destination $_ -Force}
Is there a better way to get this done that I'm missing? R
My home network has a CloudKey, USG, 3 switches and 3 APs connecting a variety of devices. I never have issues connecting anything to the Internet but I do sometimes have problems with devices connecting to each other on my internal network. A while back I found this article on managing mDNS and after doing this on my switches things seemed to work better.

Unfortunately this stuff has to be done again each time the switches restart. Is there a way to manage mDNS from within the network managment app hosted on the CloudKey?
I have a need to slowly add devices to an SCCM collection due to bandwidth concerns. In this case I'm adding ~20 devices at a time and when the bandwidth ramps down I add 20 more until complete. I'd like to script this to make it less labor intensive but I don't have the PowerShell skills to link it all together. This the command I came up with to pull 20 results from one Device Collection that need to be added to another.
Get-CMCollectionMember -CollectionID MMA00127 | select -first 20 | FT ResourceId
This command would allow me to add devices to another colle
I got my new soft top installed today. I suppose I'll never be done.
flickr.com/photos/willtel/51317958431/in/date...I have about 450 Windows 10 clients in my site and I'm unsure of how they are getting updated to version 2004. I have a task sequence that will upgrade them but it hasn't been deployed to very many devices. Patches are pushed out via SCCM but I am not using a Windows 10 servicing plan to upgrade devices. End users do have the ability to pull patches down from Windows Update but i can't see 80% of the users in my environment being proactive enough to install the 2004 update themselves. Do Windows 10 devices pull this down periodically on their own? I guess this is a good problem to have but I would like to know where this is coming from and to have more control over it.

For some reason today at around noon my Internet dropped. After taking a look at a few things in noticed that my USG-3 was no longer getting an IP from the AT&T Arris modem that sits upstream from it. Connecting directly to the modem showed that my fiber connection was up and I was able to get to the Internet when plugged directly into it from a wired laptop. I had the Arris modem set up with IP Passthrough to the USG and everything had been working fine. No amount of restarting resetting or re-adopting has fixed it. I also tried setting a static WAN IP on the USG with no luck.
Any ideas to get this thing working again or has it died on me? My wife works full time from home and my kids
