I always have strict rules for myself and sometimes I just indulge and feel like I suddenly remember I am a grown up and actually can do whatever I want.

So today I’ll have pastries for dinner while I plan a solo Mediterranean trip for this fall.

Or would you just look for another job with higher income?

I quit my previous job a couple years ago after burn-out and had a hard time to find a new one once I started to look for it. I finally had 2 offers and went with the most boring one with a lot of perks. But not possibility to get a promotion or even a better salary. I know I am too senior for my position but I needed some security and peace of mind when I signed.

Now a year later, I am way too good at my job that I am not compensate enough for. But I am mentally bored. I have a lot of interest in a lot of different topics (finance, marketing, content strategy) but I don’t know if I should find a better paying job more aligned wit

Looking for a thriller political drama

I’ve loved Tempest that is my number 1 drama this year so far. I love it because of the plot and the tension between the main leads. I like the romance part, the chemistry between FL and ML. But also the orignal plot. And the tension.

I am looking for something that will have me hooked the same way. It can be recent or old drama.

Another one I watched and liked:

  • Queen Maker. Incredible plot and the thriller part was captivating
  • When the phone rings: the chemistry, the plot and the suspense

My watch history:

  • Confidence Queen : 8/10

  • SKY CASTLE 8/10

  • Love to hate you 6/10

  • Her private life 5/10

  • Crash landing over you 9/10

  • Dali and

Hi, Please recommend your favorite drama that contains romance or good storyline. I am looking for something new to watch on both platforms. It can be romance or thriller but not a period or fantasy drama. The only kdrama I’ve seen on these platform is Tempest and and loved it!

For reference here is what I liked so far for on other platforms :

For romance: King the land: love the romance. love both of the leads style. Heartwarming romance

Oh my Venus: like the second FL style and jewelleries! So beautiful. Cute romance

Dali and cocky prince: loved FL fashion! She has a strong and fun style. Cute romance.

Romance is a bonus book: loved the ML style and also the second couple fashion.

And was it your choice? Or where you oversold during the job interviews or was it just a financial decision?

For context I realised recently that I was way overqualified for my new position. But I have great benefits so I might stay and look for something else in the meantime. It’s just very frustrating some days because I am supposed to have a senior role but I get the same tasks as some juniors on the team.

I needed the job at the time so I didn’t really see the red flags but the position was definitely oversold to get me to accept the offer

Are you part of a club in any form?

Hobbies/Travel/Recreation

I am actually into watching videos about Print club and book club and I think it’s an interesting way to connect trough art. I like the “surprise” element of it and also to receive physical little surprises trough my mails. I also think my inner child wants to use my adult money to buy stuff I couldn’t buy when I was younger.

I might join one if I found one European base but for now I want to know if this is just a niche social media trend or if other people enjoy this in a small (local/city) or big community (international club/via social media or else)?

How did you find this club? What do you like about it? Did you regret joining?

I am from Europe and I’ve always find fascinating how the relationship with gold (as an insurance for women) is in so many different countries.

Since I hit mid 30 I wanted to start to collect beautiful gold jewelleries from places I travel too and to celebrate meaningful milestone. As a nice gift to myself but also to collect for my future and leave as inheritance.

Now, the past few weeks have been hectic for metals and 2 weeks ago I spotted a nice necklace I wanted to gift myself for my birthday in February. Today I saw that this nickel is 50% more. Two other brands I have an eye on just announce they will rise their price from 7 to 10%. That’s insane.

Do you pay any attention to this

I an in the look for a new bag. I learn a lot in this sub about European bags (classic LVMH or less known like Wandler or Sathburry) and also Asian brand (like Songmont). Since I might travel to Mexico this year and I am planning I was wondering what brand should I look for there? And what other South American countries have interesting designers brands?

I want to find something nice, colourful and beautiful. And the price should be a reflection of the quality (craftsmanship, materials, design…)

I am curious about people who were spent abroad by their parent to live with family and attend school or are immigrants but had to go back home to study and then moved back to their “home”. I am not think about fancy private school with time off to see your family in your holiday spot. I am talking about living with your cousins you’ve never seen before and live in a country where you don’t even speak the language before moving.

Where is home now for you? How is your relationship with your parents as adults? Are you close despite spending a part of your life without them? Additionally would you agree to send your own (actual or future) kids to study abroad?

I only watch kdrama for less than a year now and I feel like I already have “familiar faces” that I recognise from one kdrama to another. I was wondering if this industry is a well enough paid job for the actors? I assumed they can do a lot of partnerships/ads on the side but I see a lot of the actors being also singers, or something else. I guess actors are artists and that’s a good thing to be able to balance music and acting when you can. But is this also because of the money? Just wondering how this works

I would love your feedback about this, especially when you quit a job ages ago and now you have to ask for a recommendation from previous managers.

How you do you approached it? Did you write a fake email asking them to be fair? Or do you just call them ask for it?

Disclaimer: I hate asking for any king for help whatsoever in life in general so this is quite hard for me
