Anyone else tried to go for the 100,000 pts? I am surprised to have found myself so addicted to this simple game of detonating things.

I have deliberately ignored every news or preview about the game since its announcement and I am now regretting that decision.
I'm at chapter 3 and the free roaming structure together with focus on resources and workbenches makes the game feel dumbed down to a third-person mod of Dying Light.
Do things get better at some point? Is this game still the same mindfuckery that was the first?
