Hi everyone,

Hopefully this is allowed. We're without power in Australia due to storms and we have a 3 phase 70kw generator installed to power the house in such events.

It was running for 24hrs without issue but then it had an undervolt alarm and shutdown. Now that may have been due a fuel shortage to be honest. Since refilling though, the generator starts fine but after between 10 and 15 minutes there is a Gens Overcur Alarm and it shuts down.

In the event viewer it appears the it's the third phase that is the problem with it reading Amp 5 3 23

The house has no 3 phase equipment in it and a shed with a 3 phase outlet isn't connected.

Does anyone have any idea on troubleshooting

Hopefully a short question with what I imagine is a long answer.

As had been shown in the last 48-72hrs, the effect of the drop in Turkey's economy secondary to, among other things, tariffs from a large Western democracy, on the AUD has been negative.

I know it's been mentioned in the past why the Australian dollar tends to fluctuate. But why in the setting of Turkey's economy tanking, are we taking such a huge hit?

Is it simply that it's market uncertainty so money flees the AUD and into USD/gold?

Cheers

Hi everyone,

I hope this is the right place to ask but since it's purely wheel related I'm hoping someone will know the answer.

I'm building up a Ti bike currently that is disc brake with thru-axles. I've managed to score some secondhand Zipp 303 firecrest disc brake wheels for a great price. They have a manufacture date printed on the rim of 7/10/13.

From what I've been able to find it appears I have made a mistake in that these wheels aren't convertible to thru-axle, is that correct?

I haven't received the wheels yet so can't see if the hubs are 177d or 188d which I assume would be the easiest way to tell?

Thanks for your help. If you think this is more appropriate in another sub,

Edit: I have changed the low light/night photos so for new viewers please do not attack the redditors talking about my previous poor choice in low light/night photos

Edit 2: I also hope this has been helpful. I can get some tunnel vision when I settle onto a subject, sorry about that.

Good morning/afternoon/evening/night all,

As promised, I'm back to post some battery stats after a weekend of use. It's not a 100% to 5% as I can't really risk running out of battery when I'm travelling around another state but the stats below are a days use - 0900 to 2230 without charging.

Battery

This includes using the camera, navigation, flight mode, WiFi.

Now for some gene

EDITsomething: Alright, thanks again everyone for the questions. I hope I've provided some sort of help and relief to those contemplating and waiting on a new phone. I will possibly update this post if I get time on the weekend with anything interesting I find. Otherwise, on Monday I'll post a quick battery update. Thanks.

Also, thanks for the Gold kind person.

There was some earlier posts but I think they were deleted for not being self posts.

The only problem with the early release is no one has cases.

Happy to answer questions while I'm mowing.

Edit 1: is there any battery app of community preference I can run over the weekend and then post results on Mond

As a follow-up to my previous question, does anyone have loupe recommendations?

Should be available in Australia but most are.

For endovascular component of gen surg and beyond.

Thanks

Hi everyone,

Probably a bit of a silly question but I wanted to know if anyone had the most recent edition set of the Companion to Specialty Surgery published by Elsevier and were looking to offload it?

My partner is going through SET training and has the fellowship exam in 2 years so these would be a great help.

Thanks

Hi all,

I've recently gotten a job near Footscray (Western) Hospital that starts early next year and am looking at places to live.

I've lived in the city centre for 4 years and this year in Bendigo but I've never really had to travel around the western suburbs so I was going to get done advice and ideas on where I could live that's a nice area with either quick drive towards the hospital or has easy PT to the area.

Looking to rent at the moment and I'll figure out if the prices will work, I'm more just looking for travel corridor advice.

Thanks for any help.

Regards, Woop

Hi All,

This might be a silly question, but given that a rate cut is looking more likely in the near future, I wanted to know if there are ways to take advantage of this in the short to medium term?

My limited knowledge of this is generally that a rate drop sees the share market rise but given the current downward trend and having an already much reduced rate, I wonder if that will follow this time.

Thanks for any help or guidance

Hi all,

Off the bat I want you to know I'm in Australia but hopefully that won't affect the recommendations.

What I'm chasing is a performance wagon that's a proper manual, not a flappy-paddle. Preferably post-MY06.

At the moment my list basically only has the Subaru Liberty (Legacy) tuned by STi.

What other options are out there?

Thanks for any help.
