The original and only subreddit dedicated to 2C-B, the psychedelic phenethylamine synthesized by Alexander Shulgin. This subreddit is to promote harm reduction and safety, promote the knowledge and awareness of 2C-B, and to be a space for constructive conversation. Please note that this is NOT for 2C-B-FLY or βk-2C-B discussions, they may have 2C-B in the name but these are completely separate substances. /r/2CB_FLY or /r/researchchemicals are the subs for those questions.

2C-B (4-Bromo-2,5-dimethoxyphenethylamine) is a psychedelic phenethylamine first synthesized by Alexander "Sasha" Shulgin during his experiments with mescaline derivatives. It's known for its light and easily managed headspace, euphoric and easygoing mood, strong focus on visuals, and distinctive body high.

##Please be kind and thoughtful Please remember to be a kind person while on this subreddit. Some of our visitors may be tripping, so positive vibes only!

##Please read and respect the rules Please note that sourcing drugs of any kind (legal or not) in this board is prohibited, however sourcing harm reduction equipment such as test kits or scales is not. Powder or pill identification is banned as well, this includes questions such as "have you heard anything about these sparkly neon green hearts that have been going around recently?" Since posting the original question itself as well as any comments in reply are both based in assuming you have the same pill as someone else just because they look similar, you're basically drug ID-ing by default. The full list of rules can be found here.

##Test your drugs!

Test your drugs! ALWAYS reagent test your stuff whenever you're using a new batch or pick up more. Usually you will be alright, but you don't want to end up with another substance and have a bad time. Marquis test kits or a full panel testing can be purchased online. For more information about testing check out r/ReagentTesting:

When using powder, ALWAYS use a milligram-accurate scale (0.001g precision) - 2C-B has a steep dose response curve. It is impossible to accurately eyeball milligram doses, especially with the accuracy that 2C-B would require. A milligram scale is borderline mandatory for recreational drug use, and investing in a good quality one will allow you to handle pretty much anything. One popular scale is the Gemini-20 which can be found on sale for about $25. Safe doses of 2C-B range from 10 to 100mg, common doses range from 10mg to 40mg, typical doses are around 25mg.
