Have you, too, dreamed of the day where the digital blends seamlessly into the tangible?

Welcome to the new community for AR developers. We hope you'll join us in exploring AR technology and help us grow! (Be sure to check out the FAQ!)

Have an interest in Augmented Reality?

Welcome to r/DigitalConvergence!

This subreddit is a small, but active hub for those looking to actually create augmented reality solutions. No gimmicks, vaporware, or buzzwords. Only a new reality built with existing libraries, components, algorithms, and hardware.

The end goal of this community is to create open-source tools that enable AR-enabled, 3D, multi-user experiences. Let's build!

Guidelines

Be friendly and constructive.
"Show and Tell" is encouraged! What are you working on? Videos are encouraged, even if it's not a finished product!
This is a code-sharing community! Be prepared to publish your code (we all understand that it's full of hacks). In turn, you can see ours!
Feel free to ask questions, but be willing to do your homework!

As it's a relatively new sub, I'll be taking the liberty of using it to log my own experiences as I adventure deep into combining these technologies.

You're welcome to join me on my journey! The emphasis of this subreddit will remain on the creation of Augmented Reality (AR) solutions.
