##About

Reconstructing the life and teachings of Jesus by using the scientific tools of modern historical research.

##Rules

##1. Statements of fact should be sourced.

Assertions of fact should be sourced, preferably from an academic critical source. Academic theological sources may be used if they focus on the historical Jesus, but any source that is apologetic or focused on modern theology/application is not appropriate.

Wikipedia can used, but users should provide specific quotations from the wiki page, and indicate whether the wiki page also presents a point counter to the one quoted.

Users should comply with requests for sources or explanation.

##2. Personal opinions.

Personal opinion can be shared, but it should be explicitly labeled an opinion. Users cannot represent an opinion as fact. If an "opinion" makes an unsupported assertion of fact, the comment will be removed until a source is added.

##3. No insults, derision, gatekeeping, trolling, etc.

Self-explanatory, but subject to moderator discretion.
