r/IdeasForTech is similar to subreddits such as r/IdeasForAskReddit or r/IdeasForTheAdmins. It is a place where users and mods can bounce ideas around and hopefully keep up with evolving trends to create the best possible experience.

Users can pose ideas to the mods of r/tech, and the mods can present ideas to the general public. The aim is to be able to thoroughly discuss ideas and policy as it pertains to r/tech.

Nothing here is binding, but having a forum for full discussion and different perspectives can help ensure that any action taken is well thought out. It can also help us tie up some existing loose ends that may be overlooked. The more practical and supported a topic is, the better likelihood of it becoming official.
