Abnormalities and Uniquities

r/MCAbnormalities

This has been replaced by r/minecraftabnormals. A subreddit for all of your **UNIQUE** Minecraft suggestions. This is inspired by /r/minecraftsuggestions, but note that only original content is allowed here! This sub was formed by the moderators as a haven from the aforementioned sub's rapid fluctuations between minor 'tweak' suggestions and major suggestions. Since then, the subreddit has spawned a wiki and many of the moderators are learning to mod Minecraft, so exciting times are ahead!

#What is r/MCAbnormalities?

A subreddit for all of your UNIQUE Minecraft suggestions you can think of! This is inspired by r/minecraftsuggestions, but takes a direction of suggesting ideas that happen to be more content-packed and abnormal, hence the name. This sub was formed by the moderators as a place for people to place their larger ideas and tweak them for the population. Since its creation, the subreddit has spawned a wiki and many of the moderators are learning to mod Minecraft, so exciting times are ahead!

###Guidelines

~~We take this subreddit very seriously. So none of the following will be tolerated:~~

* memes

* joke posts

* annoying/offensive content

* bad posts (like "revert 1.9 changes")

* polishing ideas (those can be posted to r/minecraftsuggestions)

In the comments, however, jokes are always permitted and even encouraged to add some fun to the subreddit. The guideline is this; they should likely relate to the idea in some way - for example, a "the cake is a lie" joke on an idea about more cakes.

###Law Enforcement

If you do place the aforementioned joke posts or offensive content, you will be warned. Do it another time, you'll be reminded again of the policies. Three strikes, and you're banned. Don't be that guy.

Remember to follow rediquette and be an overall decent person. Also if you dislike an idea, make sure to explain why in the post's comments so that the writer can touch up on their idea.While having a disagreement on ideas is encouraged and permitted for the sake of improving an idea, make sure to be civil. This is primarily the reason why there is no downvote button on here, by the way. It doesn't even work on mobile.

###MCAbnormalities Network

~~MCAbnormalities is more than just this sub. The full network is currently:~~

* r/MCAbnormalities

* r/MCMinors, for suggesting tiny changes like name or texture changes.

* MCAbnormalities Wiki on Wikia

* Minecraft Abnormalities & Modding Discord, a Discord server.

##Thanks for helping us improve this subreddit, abnormally! ;)
