MobileCitizen

MobileCitizen is managing the high-speed internet access with unlimited data on the T-Mobile network, rooted in the licensing requirements of the 2.5GHz (Band 41) Educational Broadband Service (EBS) spectrum.

Note that access is NOT limited to Band 41, and reports indicate that EBS restrictions might have been dropped in 2019.

The network:

r/TMobile (the overlord carrier);
r/Sprint (acquired by T-Mobile);
r/Clearwire (acquired by Sprint);

The resellers:

r/Calyx (privacy-oriented non-profit, membership open to all for an annual membership fee);
r/4GCommunity (defunct, predecessor to JumpWireless);
r/PCSforPeople (income-restricted, but not limited to the PCS spectrum);
r/JumpWireless (successor to 4GCommunity, since also defunct);
r/MobileBeacon (reseller for schools/libraries/nonprofits);

Alternatives:

r/TMobileISP;
r/VerizonISP;
- r/Visible (officially unlimited 1.5Mbps hotspot in every phone plan);

Future alternatives:

r/Dish5G:
