###Post Rules

Science posts require evidence, proof or at the very least cited sources of inspiration (wherever you got that idea from)
If your post can be answered by a single source then your though isn't hypothetical. If your post isn't hypothetical then this may not be the best place for it.

###Post Guidelines

Post with the intention of pushing your theory in terms of feasibility, applications and accuracy of thought.
Back up your theory with proof and ideas. A post is meant to be the starting point for discussion.
Take your time in writing. Remember, there is a reason why Reddit allows so many characters in the post's body.

###Discussion Guidelines

Try to respect the posts of others. If you don't want your own posts to be bashed then don't do it to others. We are all here to discuss ideas and hear each other out in an agreeable manner.
Whether through debate, questioning, agreeing or linking to outside sources, aim to educate.
Likewise, be ready to learn from the posts and comments of others.

###Spread the word!

Good discussion in this thread will come from a diverse base of users. That means getting as many users as we can to participate and subscribe. Help make r/MyTheoryIs a better discussion sub. Please help us out and spread the word!
