Just an approach I have taken recently to counter misinformation been spread on 'AT Protocol' platform about the wsocial client.

Registered for this, got the invite, got the app. However I can't get past my DOB as the year sticks at 2026. If I go to next step after putting in correct year, it goes back to 2026. Emailed support. The website set up was painful s well. Ho-hum.

I have tried to go through the verification process many times. The app process stalls at the stage where it tries to read the machine-readable code on my UK passport. The code is clear, well lit and properly framed. In addition, I brace my phone carefully so that there is absolutely no movement. All to no avail - I am repeatedly instructed to hold the phone steady and try again. I eventually give up, request a manual review. That doesn't happen, and (some time later) I get another reminder email from W to join up and I try again. I don't think I have ever had so much trouble with trying to sign up to anything before. I'm totally aligned with the concept of W, but if it's this difficult to s

I've applied now but waiting for a response to let me know I have been accepted. For the rest of you how long did it take?

For me reddit and whatsapp type app would be what i need.

Unfortunately, not the end of my on boarding problems. The verifying on the app or website didn't work for me either. So that has also needs to be manually applied by

Let us try and counter there main talking points.

1. Alice W###l**1* & Far Right accounts welcomed! So what? with ATProtocol, everybody can CONTROL their own feed, so are not forced to see any content from them if so desired. Everyone has a right to be on social media what ever side of the political/religious alignment they may have.

2. Moderation! Every platform has issues with accounts posting unfavourable content, W is in its infancy/beta stage and a small team, which may not be able to react to the accounts on a speedy process. Point 1 self moderation is available.

3. Client website or app. Clone of BlueSky with limited and missing features. W is on the AT Protocol an
