Now, Regarding Rick and Morty Comics:

Whilst the first two volumes of the original Rick and Morty comic series starred a Rick and Morty from an alternate dimension than their TV counterparts, Dimension C-132, in order to remove worries about continuity with the original show and to give more free reign to the writers, those writers eventually realised that nobody gave a fork, and quietly switched the focus of the series to now mostly do the off-screen adventures of the Rick and Morty of Dimension C-137 after issue #10.

And sometimes there's other Ricks and Mortys. They don't always tell us which are which. Unless there's specific reference to events of certain episodes. Such as how the events of "A Tale of Two Jerries" were referenced in "Tales From the Citadel".
