A subreddit for an amalgamation of regional American sounds (footwork, Jersey/Baltimore/Philly club, vogue, etc), glossy hyperreal UK sounds (the Night Slugs camp ie. Jam City, uk Funky, grime and icey aesthetics), African and Afro-Caribbean genres (tarraxinha, gqom, dancehall, dembows of all varieties), and proto "deconstructed club" (Total Freedom, Craxxxmurf, etc) that somehow briefly congealed into a somewhat cohesive idea of "club music"

Though it has morphed and progressed over the years, r/cxd stands to be a repository for music of this variety.
