PLEASE HELP US SAVE THIS GAME. IT DOES SO MANY GOOD THINGS FOR DAILY ROUTINES AND MENTAL HEALTH A SAFE PLACE AT HOME OR IN PUBLIC TRANSPORT OR OUT IN THE WORLD. HELP US SAVE THIS GAME.

Hi everyone! I do game preservation, and as much as I'd love to help with preserving the game itself (with an offline patch or private server), I'm unfortunately too occupied with other projects right now to take on something as heavy as a private server for a game like this (which is months of work).
That said, I wanted to contribute in my own small way by archiving the entirety of the server assets! Textures, sprites, 3D models, materials, shaders, prefabs, NPC characters, UI, music/audio, and more. If it was only stored on their servers, it is in this dump. I just logged in to the game for the first time in a few weeks and saw the announcement that it’s being shut down in October. The in-game announcement is so vague but there’s not really any solid information about it anywhere else either.
I’ve been playing this game since 2022 and it’s helped me through really hard times. This game felt like a safe space I could escape to. The reason why I logged in today is because I’m going through another rough patch so the news is hitting me harder than it usually would have.
This ended up being more of a vent I guess. I know it sounds dramatic but I feel so devastated. I’ve signed the petition and I know we can all take screenshots but.. 😭 I wish we
I have so much regret. There are still so many outfits to buy for 500 apples for the characters. Why is there not a summer skin for my melody yet!!! I hate this and I don’t want it to be real
This is my vent in regards to the news that the game will be ending in October.
Now that the game is shutting down I'm gonna need a replacement. Does anybody know some games similar to hkw2? (Levels, customizing, pleasing aesthetic) I've already tried hello kitty dream village and hello kitty dream store but i found that they're both too overwhelming for me.
Is anybody else slightly annoyed at the lack of kuromi items?? For example, I have put a topiary next to every item making house that matches that character, EXCEPT KUROMI!! She dosent have one and it’s sooo annoying! Plus she has no tile that matches her style. I’m so disappointed :(
