Permanent is perfection, but mechanically permanent, sealed and long-term means you're in the club!

r/permanentchastity

If chastity is your default and release requires tools, then this is the place for you! We are oriented toward mechanically permanent and permanent-style chastity device wear. Our ideal is indefinite long-term chastity with no set end date, and a positive decision, and possibly tools, required to remove the device. You are welcome to post links to pics/videos/blogs involving permanent chastity, especially if it's your own original content!

~~RULES~~

We're here to share about real permanent chastity, not roleplay it or humiliate ourselves.

Posts should only include examples or discussions of permanent chastity. Non-permanent chastity posts/discussions should go in r/chastity or r/chastitytraining.

Images must clearly focus on mechanically sealed (e.g. riveted, glued, permalocked, key broken) or unfamiliar long-term chastity devices.

If your device isn't sealed, we don't want to see it unless it's an unfamiliar device and you've ALREADY spent 2+ months in open-ended chastity. The following will be summarily deleted: unrelated erotic activity; thinly veiled sissy content; anything showing your anus; anything showing you getting off.

Image posts from dominants must show at least a hand or foot belonging to the photographer.
No personal adds or soliciting, but reasonable self promotion is allowed.

You know what we mean, please don't do it. In particular, anything like permanent chastity doesn't need a keyholder! However, if you have something to sell or promote - blog posts, erotica, fiction, videos, actual devices - that's clearly permanent chastity related, we would love to see it as long as you don't over do it. (NB Keyholding services are not allowed.)

Normal standards apply. Anything stupid, dangerous or evil will be deleted and may result in bans.

Don't be a dick. Don't advocate consent violations or dangerous stuff.

Mods may delete posts, especially low effort ones, on gut reaction, and their decision is final.

No trolling, no spamming, no content stealing - violators will be removed without warning.

~~FAQ~~

What is permanent chastity? - Permanent chastity is a kink or fetish involving the use of various methods to ensure that a person's normal ability to sexually perform is either altered or restricted, typically by using purpose-built chastity devices, often custom-made ones, and some form of fastening method less reversible than the padlocks or zip ties commonly found in non-permanent chastity (for example, JB weld for cold-welding steel devices together, or pop-rivets).
Is it really permanent? - Not in most cases, but it does make it exceedingly difficult to escape, which can make it more appealing to those who are drawn to the chastity kink more from the "predicament bondage" and/or "power exchange" angles. Permanent chastity just sounds a lot better than "really hard to remove chastity".
Why do it permanently? - From all indications, very few actually engage in this kink, but those who do seem to do it either as a gesture of submission and devotion to a dominant partner or, in some even rarer cases, they self-lock permanently as a means of self-expression and self-torment.
What about medical implications? Is it safe? - As with any other kink, an amount of research should be done by the kinkster proportional to the impact of the kink itself before anything is attempted. This kink should probably be considered edge play of a sort - not because it's immediately dangerous but because it's so difficult to reverse. Devices can be removed by grinding or cutting through them, or in the case of pop-rivets, drilling the rivets out, but this of course carries with it a level of personal danger that the wearer accepts when they become permanently locked (and which probably serves as a good amount of the aversion to escape in the first place).
Is permanent chastity for me? - That's not for us to say. We do hope that if you make the decision to practice this kink that you do so fully informed and with an eye for safety.
