Remember that bicycle in the garage? Yeah, the one that hasn't been ridden in 5 years? There is a person near you who wants to ride that bicycle, guaranteed. So, post it's availability here!

Maybe your bicycle was stolen, maybe you've fallen into hard times and can't afford to drive, or maybe you just want one improve your health. Anyway, you've come to the right place. Post your request here!

r/randomactsofbicycle allows people to gift and receive bicycles. If your post get's a dusty unused bicycle out of a garage and onto the street (trail, half pipe etc.), then MISSION ACCOMPLISHED.

Money exchange is not encouraged; this is not classified advertising. This subreddit is intended to help people by gifting them a bicycle, not selling them one. That said; pizza, beer, and the like are encouraged as payment/trade. Keep the kindness rolling.

Keep in mind that gifting bicycle parts/incomplete projects is also encouraged

Please include in the post title:

Your location i.e. [Country/State, City] (at end of post title)
[BIKE] or [BICYCLE] if you have a bicycle to give (at beginning of post title)
[PROJECT] or [PARTS] if you have a project bicycle or parts to give (at beginning of post title)
[REQUEST] if you are in need of a bicycle (at beginning of post title)

Example: [BIKE] One Specialized mountain bike [Seattle, WA]

I wish I didn't have to say this, but I feel like I should:

Please be smart everybody. Don't steal bikes. People that steal and deal with stolen bikes are straight scum. Use your discretion and let's stay safe and helpful.

If you do trade for beer/alcohol, please make sure the recipient is of legal age in your state/country.

Thanks to everybody for their input and help so far, lets keep it going!
