[Mork Borg][Discord] need 3-4 for continuing campaign

Hey Scvm, my players are about to wrap up Rotblack Sludge and from there we’ll be continuing with a chain of modules until the final misery happens and darkness swallows the world.

I need 3-4 players to jump in. No knowledge of the previous module is needed. Each can be stand alone, but if you stay with us- it’ll be a long term slog through the filth and decay of a dying world.

Since spots are limited, I’ll take the best responses. Thanks!

Sure thing! We have folks from all over so it’s very much asynchronous.

If everyone is posting, then things move pretty quickly, but I make sure nobody gets left behind.

I do like to try and keep things 1 post a day. But life happens- I get it. I usually just move things along if someone is afk for a while. If you let me know in advance if you’re out for a bit, I’ll work your absence into the narrative somehow. I’m very comfortable splitting the party, I think it makes for dynamic stories and can help with pacing conflicts.

Only requirements for play are that you come ready to engage. I had all the reference and rules books we need, I can post relevant rules as we go so no need to study the system in depth. All my players get a private channel so they can write notes, ask questions etc as needed.

Here's my response for what it is worth. I write it knowing that this is futile and it will remain unread for eternity and I will be left alone, staring at the cold abyss of what little time I have left on this rock.

I'd love to try a hand at Mork Borg. Been looking for a PBP opportunity as well as MB and I think the brutalistic nature of MB sounds awesome to play.

Something about being doomed from the beginning, persistent damage options, and scratching out an existence in a dying world... probably why I like Dark Sun too.

I'm definitely interested and work from home, so the daily post requirement doesn't bother me. Thanks for the consideration!

Nice- from my admittedly very limited 5e experience, this is a different beast. Apparently the core of the system was made when a bunch of guys when on a pub crawl but couldn’t remember the rules so they just made it barebones and fun.it was the first game system I learned.

No, I just had a couple minutes glance and thought- cool! I've played a bit of wfrp which is pretty depressing too. I love the tone and artwork of Mork Borg.

My regular live game is DnD and I pbp wfrp. I can adapt.
