Hopefully ea resolve this asap this could also be them not taking responsibility but regardless I hope it’s fixed asap it does seem like Eas fault as it’s only affecting ea games by the looks of things

Not just EA games for me, after I updated any game I try to download or play ends up saying corrupted file etc with the error code and psn are useless saying they will email in 3 days but can get you they won’t man

I contacted support chat and they sent me steps to initialize ps4 but problem has not been solved.
Now besides the problem, I don't have any data in the console.

Is this an error appearing when you download a previously uninstalled game or for every game or it occurs on random games? Because I just bought Skyrim because it was dirt cheap and it downloaded and installed just fine?

I can't download transport fever 2 pre release (it's out now).
It's probably related to the latest update on the Playstation 4. I can't download transport fever 2 i bought pre release.
Apps that are uninstalled and want to reinstall, in my case far Cry 6 gets the same error.
I think it's something like that, uninstalled and installing not working and bought pre release before the update.
Sony fucked up.
In the meantime support isn't aware of the problem and sending only default trouble shooting emails and the last one says we sent the problem to another team. We don't know how long it will take..
Customers can't solve it. Even not an reinstall etc.. don't bother.

I tried everything. I rebuilt my database twice, power cycled my ps4, restored licenses nothing seemed to work I’m hoping it’s a issue from Sonys end that they fix asap and not a issue with the games we paid for or our consoles

That sounds like a coincidence. There is a manual disc eject screw on every PS4. Check out this link: https://www.playstation.com/en-us/support/hardware/ps4-eject-stuck-disc/
It happened with me once. Once I took out the disc manually everything got back to normal.

Yup All day with Elden Ring. I've tried everything from database rebuild to total reformat. Otjer games will download just fine tho. Fuck you Sony. This is practically theft.

Yes this is an old error resurfacing, so it's also possible that the solution now may be different than the solution that worked three years ago.
