Please fold it in as another objective game type and make ranked doubles and snipers permanent.

There has to be a substantial ranked player population drop since they made doubles rotational. Me and a few of my friends all stopped playing when dubs dissapeared from the playlist selection. I don't understand why they make these moves sometimes

The only mode that caused people to left the game or at least not engage with comp was soloQ and that's because the majority play solo and get triggered by a system where they get placed against 4 stacks constantly.
Btw, I don't even think comp is in priority list right now, social games are more like

It’s not that simple, I’m talking high onyx. When you rank up high enough you’re just waiting in lobbies at certain times of the day. There were always high ranked dubs teams searching. You may get a US/AUS pairing and have 200 ping but at least you were playing games at 10am
Yeah, from the second dubs first dropped until solo/duo was taken out lol
But yet, they are still ranking social just hiding it. There is literally no social mode and they wonder why there are no new players.

I loved OG BREAKOUT
Literally was watching all my old OG breakout Xbox DVR clips an hour ago. I’m afraid nothing will ever bring that feeling back. So good.
I remembered playing Halo 5 - Breakout for the first 1.5 years, where you start at the back and Grab the Flag and bring it to the enemy base.
The Halo 5 Magnum with combination of the Spartan Abilities was dope.
I want more Breakout.
Holomaps, 2.0 rules, Classic shotty and H5 Magnum.

How the hell do 343 still not get the message?
NO ONE WANTS TO PLAY ELIMINATION MODES IN HALO. Halo is an arena shooter. Elimination modes don't belong in an arena FPS.
Counter Strike already exists.
Valorant already exists.
Rainbow Six already exists.
All these games do elimination modes 100x better than Halo could ever hope to do.
We already learned this in Halo 5 when 343 tried to shove Breakout down our throats and it was completely rejected by 99.99% of the Halo community. Casual players hate it. Competitive players hate it.
Meanwhile modes like 2v2 have no permanent slot in rotation... Pretty much every playlist is 4v4 aside from BTB and Free for All. Other party sizes don't exist apparently?
They could even just make a Team Slayer ranked playlist that adjusts sizes depending on your search party with a match making composer.
Eg, I queue up for ranked slayer with my brother and it searches for 2v2, 3v3 AND 4v4 games depending on other players searching. If it can't find 8 players total it would just toss us into a 2v2 match. This would decrease search times.
Non-objective game types don't require a minimum amount of players so it seems this should be very easy to implement and because of the variable party size it wouldn't directly compete with ranked arena for population.

Survivors is like having a dedicated Slayer playlist, except better because it breaks up the monotony.

"Elimination doesn't belong in arena fps" says chud who doesn't realize one of the most popular game modes in all of arena FPS is Clan Arena, an elimination game type. Clearly you don't know anything about this genre lmao

I honestly have a lot of fun with it but the queue timers make it a nightmare to play. Would love a non-ranked Survivors playlist so more people queue up.

I'd love to play Ranked FFA but queue times were terrible even when it wasn't rotational.
Imo the priority should be making Ranked Doubles permanent, and if Ranked FFA can survive alongside it then all the better.

FFA is dogwater, always has been. Who can hold forward mindlessly (since no substantial penalty for dying) and steal kills the best? Fun!!

I don't think anyone wants ranked survivors. I'd love ranked swat to be added. Ranked doubles should be permanent and I enjoyed ranked snipers so rotating that would be fine with me
Ranked Swat with the current state of desync in this game would just be pure nightmare fuel.
I play mostly swat and it's no different from how other gamemodes feel, so just part of the game now, unfortunately
How about something truly novel like Ranked Octagon or Ranked 1v1?
I wish they would just add Ranked FFA and Ranked Doubles permanently. Maybe Ranked Solo Arena too.
2v2 has been a huge part of Halo since Halo: CE. Halo: CE didn't have online play, but tournaments were held and Ogre twins made name for themselves in dubs before 4v4.
After CE Team Doubles been a stable playlist in the Halo games starting with Halo 2. Ranked Doubles has been a popular playlist and pro players tend to warm up in dubs before they got their 4 stack together.
Online tourneys were also popular with the doubles community. Just yesterday Classic Halo League held 2v2 tourney in Halo Infinite and it was extremely fun to watch. I wanted to participate, but unfortunately I had work.
This playlist means a lot to many players and I wish we will eventually see it back permanently. I understand that when it comes to competitive Halo Ranked 4v4 is the main appeal, but right after that is Ranked 2v2. Make it happen 343.
YES, please, everyone give 343 feedback to keep ranked doubles permanent. I don't mind survivors overall, but it's a dead game type.
Ranked doubles should have been in at launch and should be permanent. It's not that hard to understand. Stop going out of your way to stop people from playing your game.
If survivors had its own map pool it would be bettter similar to breakout. Double also needs its own map pools

Noooo! And while im at it let's remove land grab too. I'd also like to see less of that cliff hanger map, less of the new oddball map in space - and what is that abomination of the new one flag map. Bring back launch site one flag, and let's have behemoth and detachment CTF back... And for the love of God A LOT more strongholds please. F'kin land grab every time makes me so sad

I only miss it for one flag - especially compared to the current offering. I don’t really like it as a map overall (launch site) more streets though, yes please
Just keep doubles. Ranked snipers is good but honestly I don't think people care about rank for it so it's basically the same as regular snipers
