Brewmaster's Ult?

Can someone please explain to me why no one ever sends their fire panda away when you ult as Brewmaster?

Because if you send your fire panda far away from the fight and you end up losing the team fight or random engagement you can just let the enemy team kill the earth and air panda. Now you have a perfect escape and won't ever die.

I understand there are still situations where you will end up coming out of your ult and that makes my point invalid. But this is due to people running away trying to save themselves. If they would just let the team kill the earth and air bear you would be perfectly safe.

TL;DR So, why don't people ALWAYS send the fire panda away from every engagement (since it is pretty worthless)?

The fire panda does more damage than the other two combined.

Then send the air.

Why do we have to send one panda away, is this a game?

Brewmaster will go to Air when the ult is over only if the other two are dead. So, unless the oppoenents are clueless, they'll keep the Earth panda alive for him to come back to so they can kill him.

Not to mention the fact that the Air panda has one of the longest disables in the game and the ability to dispel magic, and sending any of the three away cripples the teamfight and the whole point of even picking Brewmaster.

You think the enemy will kill the earth panda if you make 1 run away? they'll just follow it and wait for you to come back.

Well personally I never knew he could switch pandas. I thought if you killed the earth he would die. Something that was never explained because I'll never seen it happen before.

When Split ends he will go back to earth, if earth is dead he goes to air, if air is dead he goes to fire. If they all die he dies.

You can't just use the fire to run away because the enemy will wait for you to come back to earth.

Isn't the fire panda the one that does all the damage?

Then send the air?

But the opening post says to send the fire panda, and that's what he is responding to..?

Right - doesn't the fire panda have a windwalk? I thought that was the reason OP had chosen fire to send away.

Storm has Windwalk. Fire has max movespeed and Radiance

Ok, then he would have gotten a reply and his comment would have been pointless to the conversation. Which it wasn't because realizing it now the air would be better to send, use him quick then send him off.

SpartanAltair15•

Send off the air, they leave the earth alive, boom, you're back at earth, you die.

Making plans based on your enemy being absolutely fucking retarded is not a way to win.

Well most good players don't enter teamfights with the intention of LOSING.

You're theorycrafting as if you lose 100% of teamfights.

If you're going to play like a pussy, don't pick Panda. Pick a Weaver or some shit. By wasting 40% of the DPS from your ultimate, you are putting your own team behind every single fight.

That's most likely one of the reasons you are losing the teamfights in the first place, thus creating the scenario where you are required to run away.

FYI, I have never played Brew. So, you don't need to be an asshole.

What's the point of this thread if you've never played brew?

If people don't do something on a hero you've never played, it's likely not because you're a genius and are the first one to ever conceive of this, it's because it either doesn't work, or is a bad idea. This thread is a waste of time, and he wasn't being an asshole, he's just not sugar coating his truthful words.

He always comes back at the earth panda if it's alive. If it's not, he comes back at the wind, and if that ones dead, the fire.

Running the earth panda away removes the insanely good stun it has, running the air panda away removes the tornado and AoE purge, running the fire panda away turns your damage output to shit.

If I have to explain the purpose of this thread then you need to go back to school. Because that statement means that every single post on reddit is a waste of time, bringing up the question of why the hell are you here on reddit. Glad that you don't want the human race to learn.

It wasn't even me that thought of this anyways. It was everyone in the game that was super confused why brew didn't die when the earth panda was kill. People who have played that character a lot and never knew that he switches when the earth dies, then air.

Then they're stupid or ignorant. Period.

If they don't even know how their hero works, they haven't played him 'a lot'.

Rather than wasting your time making this thread, you could have glanced at the wiki and learned what you're being told now.

This is among the most laughable posts I've seen on reddit in years. I haven't seen a straw man of such magnitude in my life.

A stupid question with an easily discovered answer irritates me? Guess I'm an anti-intellectual misanthrope.

That dude does like 200 damage per hit in addition to burning all nearby targets for around 50 damage per second AND he runs at max movement speed. That damage is no joke. You have to be really stupid to waste all that potential damage by making it run away. 90% of the time they never focus down my pandas anyway it's generally a waste of time for them unless you're the last one standing.

3
StreambetaOP•

Well that is what i mean, in a last stand situation. Instead of the fire then send the air.

-1
hyperben•

sending any of your pandas away is a waste of time. the fire panda does shitloads of damage and you should keep it in the fight and let it deal as much damage as possible. same for air panda. you cant just count on the enemy to kill off whatever pandas are left - smart enemies generally try killing off the fire and wind pandas first and if they cant, they'll just keep the earth one alive and follow it until the duration ends

It's really fucking rare to have all 3 pandas killed off during your ult anyway, and that's mostly because the earth panda doesn't die all that often, and people will follow it to just kill you once you come out of your ult. Running the fire panda away doesn't solve anything.

2
StreambetaOP•

Not really. Most of the time yes 2 are killed and you are reverted back, but a lot of those time Brew ends up dying. This is why you would send 1 away.

When you think, "wow, this is really obvious. Everyone else must be idiots not to realize this," before you start applying that thought, first ask yourself how that many people can be so stupid, and wonder if that's really the case.

When you have an honest question, phrase it as such. Don't preface your misunderstanding with the assumption that you're an some great innovator with a great new idea. Most things have already been done.

Holy shit you are stubborn as fuck.

why even bother asking the question if only ur opinion is correct.

u are obviously too dumb or wayyyy too low level to understand anything.

no point trying to teach a down syndrome kid how to do thermodynamics.
