The Vampire's Son
June's flying by
soon it'll be July
no-one's asking why
I see it.
Blood on my wall
voices in the hall
fruit-flies at the stall
I feel it.
The moon is full
my complexion's dull
they look so tasty
especially
that newborn baby.
I feel the rush
I cannot keep it hush
I have to keep on going.
I tell my prey to shush
I love the thrill so much
I have to keep on feeding.
Middle of the night
pinnacle of my might
under the moonlight
I steal it.
On my skin's a scar
it looks so bizarre
so I wish upon a star
I heal it.
I hear the townsfolk run
why is this so much fun?
"You think you can hurt me?
Please, don't be silly."
I kill them all
kick their heads like they're balls.
I have to keep on running.
I chase them to the mall
I watch them as they fall
I have to keep on speeding.
What did they expect?
I am the vampire's son.
What did they expect?
The only thing that can hurt me is the sun.
Now it is daybreak
time to take a break
for sunlight I can't take
I believe it.
Now I must sleep
I must not take a peep
at the bodies I'll reap
I mean it.
It's villainous.
So relentless.
It's malicious.
So mysterious.
It's not fine.
They're all mine.
Maybe I crossed the line.
