Hero Discussion of this Day: Faceless Void (28 August 2013)
Darkterror, the Faceless Void
Darkterror is a master of time and space, often bending it to his will. He can Time Walk to jump forward small distances, causing the movement of enemies around his destination point to be slowed. He is also able to passively revert quickly to a past moment to avoid damage, and lock time on a target to bash them without missing a beat. Faceless Void can rip open a Chronosphere in space time to stop all units inside it, except for himself, to wreak havoc as he pleases. While he is initially weak, you should never underestimate a hero with great damage potential that also has the ability to stop time. Never.
Lore
Darkterror the Faceless Void is a visitor from Claszureme, a realm outside of time. It remains a mystery why this being from another dimension believes the struggle for the Nemesis Stones is worth entering our physical plane, but apparently an upset in the balance of power in this world has repercussions in adjacent dimensions. Time means nothing to Darkterror, except as a way to thwart his foes and aid his allies. His long-view of the cosmos has given him a remote, disconnected quality, although in battle he is quite capable of making it personal.

Tips:
When using Chronosphere, try and make sure not to trap your allies, you could just kill all them or some of them by allowing the enemy to reach or attack them like that.

Here is a dicussion about passive abilities and interaction/behaviour with Chronosphere.
Wilco- has a tl;dr on Void here. Although published 9 months ago, is still applicable.
A discussion has been made here about countering Void's ult. But the main way to do that would be to disable him while he's inside, ie keeping your distance from the team to begin with.
Dota Cinema has a video guide for Faceless Void on YouTube.

Important Dragonus tip/s of last thread by Plasma Ball:
"Don't level your ultimate past 1 just because you can. You have to make sure you have the mana to accompany it. If you're underfarmed and have no items and only 700-800 mana, there's no point in getting a level 2 ultimate since you'll only be able to use a seal or slow right after you blow your ult. And the most likely scenario is that you won't have any mana for it anyway."
