Favorite Brewery by State: Illinois

Discussion

Next up on the alphabetical tour... Illinois! With an estimated 305 breweries, the Prairie State ranks 13th in the nation for total count. While its massive population lands it at 33rd per capita (3.2 breweries per 100,000 adults), the industry is responsible for pumping $2.9 billion into the economy. It is also home of the Festival of Wood and Barrel-Aged Beers...which usually takes place in November.

Even if nobody follows them....at least be aware of the rules of this super official, super prestigious, definitely binding polling process:

Drop your favorite brewery in the state, and the one with the most upvotes wins!
