University subreddit taken by anti-university cult leader and trying to recruit members
Somehow the only moderator of r/georgetown is constantly harassing and pushing hateful rhetoric that is anti-university / seemingly trying to push everyone into their cult of secularity. They're actively seeking to break the entire university and it's actually driving new students away. What can be done here? This is getting really bad. Entire post below:
Specifically, there is only one mod and there needs to be a replacement/alternative. He's anti-Georgetown and frequently engages in hostile "debate" with users. I know this subreddit isn't official by any means, but it does affect the appearance if you're a newcomer.
I think it started mostly innocent, as seen here: https://www.reddit.com/r/georgetown/comments/14tme95/introducing_the_georgetown_secular_society/
then it started to kinda become more hostile: https://www.reddit.com/r/georgetown/comments/17nvqqh/support_the_georgetown_secular_society/
But lately it's become pretty hostile, especially towards anyone who is a member of the church (or a worshipper at all). There are frequently posts that are unrelated to Georgetown as a whole, example here: https://www.reddit.com/r/georgetown/comments/1uijsdo/comment/ouu6p6y/?context=1&screen_view_count=3 where the mod says it's related just because Georgetown is a Jesuit university (the church in question is a Baptist church in KY)
There are other examples:
Here he says GT is a "catholic diploma mill": https://www.reddit.com/r/georgetown/comments/1tm6fxj/comment/onldar1/
