UFC 330 Parlay Explained + Single Bets for Each Fight!

SLAYERS PICKS

Hello!

I hope we’re all having a good week so far!

Before I get started, I gotta do some admin stuff, you know how it is!

Full Breakdown: https://www.reddit.com/r/MMAbetting/comments/1vm70f8/ufc_330_fight_predictions/

TL;DR Breakdown: https://www.reddit.com/r/MMAbetting/comments/1vm73zv/ufc_330_fight_predictions_tldr/

Now, let’s see how last weeks event went!

Parlay: Miss! Terrible miss, didn’t even build any momentum.

Single Bet Recommendations: 2 of 6, with Miller via KO R2 or 3 being the main big hit (4.10)

Now, if you're new to this kind of write up, it's essentially a somewhat short write up telling you why I picked certain legs of the parlay, then afterwards you’ll see my Single Bet Recommendations (SBR’s if you wanna shorten it) for this weekends event!

I place 1 unit (5 AUD) every Parlay, nothing too special, really.

GTD - Goes The Distance

ITD - Inside The Distance

o1.5/2.5/3.5 etc - Over rounds

u1.5/2.5/3.5 etc - Under rounds

(x) - Unavailable on Sportsbet

Parlay Leg 1: Luque/Gore ITD (1.51) Sportsbet

There has to be a finish here, surely! Either Gore catches the chin of Luque (which is what I expect to happen as Gore has sharpened his boxing quite a lot recently) or Luque is going to find a way to get the fight to the ground, snatch the neck of Gore and go in for the submission. Either way, i would be stunned, and maybe bored, if there was to be a decision here!

Parlay Leg 2: Njokuani/Alvarez ITD (1.37) Sportsbet

This is one that worries me a little bit if there’s some timidity, because if both fighters fight with a bunch of fury and aggression, we’re going to see someone be put to sleep, or tap out or something. This is a fight featuring a well rounded kickboxer who has that nasty first round power and those 3 inches of reach, fighting someone who has the skillset to get the fight to the ground, use his grappling and find that submission.

Parlay Leg 3: Dern via Sub/Points (Double Chance) (1.52) Sportsbet

Dern is probably a more dangerous submission specialist than Robertson is, and the particular angle I see here is that Dern will catch Robertson in an Armbar since Robertson will likely land in top control due to takedowns, and even if Dern doesn’t get that Armbar, I suspect she has a boxing advantage and could deal enough significant damage to win enough rounds.

Parlay Leg 4: Makhachev R4, 5 or Dec (1.98)

This covers both a ground and pound TKO or a sub (or points) but basically, as much as I think Garry presents certain threats to Makhachev (as highlighted in my write up) I just think we’re going to see Makhachevs output wear out Garry as the fight goes on, leading to a potential finish in the championship rounds, if not, a dominant decision win for the Welterweight Champ.

Total Odds: 6.22

Total Payout: $31.12

SINGLE BET RECOMMENDATIONS (Excluding Parlay Legs)

Orolbai/Wells

Orolbai via KO R2 or 3 (CR) - 5.60

Or Orolbai via Sub R2 or 3 (CR) - 6.75

Either way, Orolbai to win in the second or third round is the thing here. I have predicted Orolbai via points, but i mean, who knows!

Magny/Brahimaj

Round 3 Starts Yes - 1.93

I just think Magny is able to survive what Brahimaj throws at him, the length of Magny as well as general durability is key here, as long as Brahimaj doesn’t attack the legs in the first round.

Tobias/Fernando

Fernando via KO R2 or 3 (CR) - 4.30

I think Fernando is pretty much a far better striker than Tobias, and I expect Tobias to be defensively okay up until the later rounds.

Johnson/McConico

Johnson via KO/Points (DC) - 1.55

Nothing to really say here, it’s a bit of a filler fight.

Ribovics/Barboza

Ribovics to win in Round 2 - 5.00

Being really specific here, I think Barboza is going to survive the first round, but be visibly fatigued in the second leading to a finish.

Abdul-Malik/Stoltzfus

Abdul-Malik via KO R1 - 3.70

Just a throwaway bet, quite a low level fight to even think about.

Turner/Fernandes

Turner via Sub R1 or 2 (CR) - 5.80

I think Turner may go for the sub here, Fernandes is defensively rough on the feet, quite a wide shell and i think Turner may hurt Fernandes on the feet, leading to some ground and pound and maybe then a submission. Maybe.

I suppose for the Johnson fight, you could put him in a KO/Points Double Chance thing, but I don't see any props for him yet so that's up to you!

And that's it!

If you have any questions, or feedback, let me know!

For now, good luck this weekend and enjoy the fights!
