Official Star Citizen Short Stories: eBook and PDF

Little late getting the latest story converted, but still quicker than last time...

For newcomers and regulars alike, here are all six of the official Star Citizen short stories, in eBook and PDF formats. Between EPUB, AZW3, and MOBI they should cover most iOS/Android readers as well as most Kindles; let me know if you need a different format and I'll see what I can do.

Cassandra's Tears - EPUB - AZW3 - MOBI - PDF
Tales of Kid Crimson - EPUB - AZW3 - MOBI - PDF
The Lost Generation - EPUB - AZW3 - MOBI - PDF
A Human Perspective - EPUB - AZW3 - MOBI - PDF
A Separate Law - EPUB - AZW3 - MOBI - PDF
Dateline:Sesen - EPUB - AZW3 - MOBI - PDF

Alternative download: All six stories in all four formats

These are all official in-universe fictions, written by various authors, that follow different characters through their lives in the universe. From UEE pilot Cal Mason, to the infamous Kid Crimson, they offer an interesting look into the world Chris and his team are building, as well as giving some clues as to what sorts of tools and tricks we'll have at our disposal.

Awesome, thanks! Didn't realize I wanted these.

Indeed, especially converted to mobile-friendly formats. I'm much more likely to read this on my phone than on my computer, and I'm honestly way too lazy to navigate the RSI website on my phone.

Same. It's a nightmare!

KennalolTowel•

Are you the same guy that made a similar post around 10 months ago? That's what got me into these stories if it was! Keep it up regardless.

snozburger•

Yes he is, a great service!

Is there any lore in audio book format out there?

5
Ghost404OPHello mobile users.•

I found the first three stories in audio form here: http://neverendingopera.podomatic.com

No idea on the quality, but they're available online or via Pocket Cast if you wanted to give them a look.

Perfect timing thanks! I just finished 'A Separate Law' this morning and was looking for an eBook version of 'Dateline: Sesen'.

Any special order one should read these in?

2
Ghost404OPHello mobile users.•

They're posted in the order they were released, but they should be independent storylines, so really you can read them in whatever order you'd like.

This is epic! where can i get the updated version, I would love to just read it on my kindle!

2
Ghost404OPHello mobile users.•

Not sure what 'updated version' you're looking for, but one of the four formats should work fine on a Kindle. Let me know if you need a different format.

RedStag00Freelancer•

Any idea which format works on kindle?

2
mwilliams42Rear Admiral•

Both the azw3 and the mobi formats should work on the kindle. You can either use the Send to Kindle application (http://www.amazon.com/gp/sendtokindle) or email it to your send to kindle address. To find this: log in to your amazon account and go to "Manage Your Content and Devices" then "Personal Document Settings" you will find an email address for your kindle.

How do you actually use the app in this situation? I installed the chrome extension but all it's doing is sending the actual reddit post or a screen of the google docs page saying no preview available

2
beryllium30Bounty Hunter•

Oh no the formats are fine and I love it :) already started reading, but the chapters always came out weekly didnt they?

so will you also do the new ones, or are the stories already complete?

2
Ghost404OPHello mobile users.•

These six stories are complete; the next story they're doing is 'The First Run' which just started last Friday. I've been trying to do these conversions/posts whenever the storylines finish, so I'll definitely try to do 'The First Run' once it's over.

Philmography•

Wow this is great, thanks! One question though: by" "official" do you mean that these are actually sanctioned by RSI/Chris Roberts?

2
Ghost404OPHello mobile users.•

Correct.

They have been releasing these in sections (usually 1-10) on the RSI site since around October 2012. They are listed under the 'Spectrum Dispatch' section of the Comm-Link, and at the bottom of this post there are links to all six stories on the RSI site.

Thank you! I was looking for a way to read those stories on my tablet but reading from the website is not really good.

You're still missing:

Whisperer In The Dark The Cup The Void Rats

get back to work...

2
Ghost404OPHello mobile users.•

In my defense, those are all subscriber only stories from the various Jump Point issues.

Although, I was planning on getting them done as well, so... maybe someday soon I'll get around to it.

That Kid Crimson story is incredible. Goddamn I want to see more of this side of the Star Citizen universe.

2
simonsays476•

Are those 6 stories finished or are they still adding new chapters?

2
Ghost404OPHello mobile users.•

These six are finished; the current story that started last Friday is 'The First Run'. That one won't be done for (theoretically) another nine or ten weeks.

simonsays476•

That's great! Thanks. I prefer completed works before starting to read otherwise it's gonna be "dammnit George RR Martin write faster" all over again.
