Ever since I started playing Nuwa I get a ridiculous amount of hate because she melts towers.

Smite is the only game I've ever played where you'll get yelled at and harassed for winning and being a good sport.

People get understandably butthurt with how OP her late game is with wrecking objectives and peacing out. She destroys phoenix's before you even notice on the minimap. With how terribad players are at warding in casual modes (this drives me insane) she has a pretty easy time 100-0'ing a phoenix in 5 seconds. It feels really cheese. Even if there was a teleport to phoenix active, you still wouldn't get there in time to defend. It's nuts how fast she takes them down. I wouldn't insult a player for playing her, though.
Yes, that "YOUR PHOENIX IS UNDER ATTACK" notification is just too damn quiet, huh? Your lack of awareness is the problem...
There's no god able to rotate to the phoenix in time. You have five seconds from the notification to the ''phoenix dead'' one, how do you go?

Quick question since I've never play as Nu Wa, how come she can take towers so quick?
Her ultimate boosts power of her basics, her 3 gives it a bonus, and her 2 summons pets that will attack it and using it gives her defensive bonuses.
Yeah, all wards do is take down her chance of taking the phoenix without punishment from 100% to about 75%. It really is a cheesy tactic.

I get equally annoyed with apollo, but if we try to gank him, he'll be gone. off into the skies, nothing we can do. You can easily catch noodle 2.0 tower edition out.

I don't play Nu Wa at all since they removed Gem of Binding(among other core items).
Can I have some tips on a good build, or should I just go with the highest amount of power?

Nu Wa is pretty much my main and backdooring is literally my favorite thing to do with this lady even if it makes others mad. Everytime I walk out of game with at least 4 towers kills + 2 pheonix kills. But she is also a gret team fighter with stun and x2 basic AoE damage Nu Wa is a beast. I sometimes have hard time fighting 1v1 an adc late game but if my minions block their basic attacks, it's not a problem at all.

Nu Wa is designed for push and she is just doing her job. And i don't think it unable to counter, such as wards. Besides, Nu Wa has no escape ability, only except her invisibility fog, but you can still hit her if you know how to do.
Nu wa can be in stealth permanently and thus ignore all wards. She is undetectable and can easily ravage towers without any of her lane minions present by using her clay soldiers and stunning the tower.
You can see small red dot in the map when she is in fog in ward radius.
Nu Wa is broken right now. She's the only character that can win the game by simply refusing to play with the others. Ignore the rest of the game, melt towers.
That said, she's in the game, and when people start to rage the only appropriate response is "u mad? 1v1 me at your phoen-...oh wait, you don't have one anymore."
Comes with every god you play. - when you win, they'll have something to say about it :P
I got spat at earlier for using Arachne. "Omg, she's the most broken, op, game changing god ever! Play a real god!" Examples included Loki Bastet and Thanatos.

Well to be fair I hate the ever loving crap out of Arachne... in 3v3 joust. Just because of the strategy of "oh we're losing my whole team is just going to sit in phoenix and try to pull you on CD until you guys manage to tower dive and kill us all.
Unless you're facing an Arachne with 100% accuracy, make your team get Magis and she is almost literally useless.
and I hate the strategy of "I'm going to A MIGHTY STORM each wave and then slither behind phoenix and spam taunt!"
Just get magis, it makes her non-existent in teamfights.

I was a nu wa player from the start but never played her for splitpushing i honestly hope that they nerf her ult vs towers like that the ult doesnt hit 2x on towers but only vs gods and minions so people can stfu about her being only good for splitpushing
Nu Wa is awesome, played her since she was 5500 favor. Her ult is the best in teamfights and fog is awesome for letting you and teammates pass by wards en letting them escape a neith ult or apollo :) she's more than just split pushing

People say she is broke because other people say she is. Can sh push towers? Yes! Can she 1 shot a whole team for free penta like other mages? No! Best part is when salty players are playing what is supposed to be the "op" god of the month and loosing.
It's just what she does.
It's like a while back when everyone said hades was trash, aphro is trash, OSIRIS is trash. But people actually started playing them they realized they are powerful. Make your own opinions on gods and don't listen to other people.
Oh gosh I was playing casual the other day and called jungle and hovered osiris. Someone was like plz no not osiris jungle he's trash. I was jist like o.0 no no he is not...
That's what people get for blindly listening to streamers and not playing the gods for themselves. When osiris first came out everyone was like hes so bad blah blah no jump. Not taking into account the man is a walking slow machine and meatgrinder of death.

People are just salty. Ignore them. Nu Wa is a great pusher and zoner but after the poly nerf she deals petty damage to gods. The tower pushing and amazing zoning are her only things making her viable
Nu Wa in the late game can burst most squishies in seconds
This, I've actually been running demonic grip instead of poly on her and I'm actually having a much better time boxing people. If your ult is up (which it so often is) and you land a flamestrike on a squishy character, you can usually kill them with little resistance.
Even with my support Nu Wa build I can still 1v1 basically anyone that isn't fed out of their mind late game. But, that is the way it should be and people are just salty :P.
But without that brust you're pretty useless. There are a lot of people playing bruiser and tank most games. Without that burst you have to be careful you can get that extra second to score that kill without getting 2 shot by a well built art.
I always build cdr on Nu Wa and play her like a Chang'e, where you just constantly keep doing damage. Not to mention you have infinite invis with your fog, and your ult is on like a 20 second cooldown.

First off, flame strike's accuracy is as good as the player.
Secondly, you 3>4>AA as need, for the kill
Thirdly, I was saying she did good burst damage because u/PhoenixCakeApple said she did no damage, which is false, I never said she was the best possible option, or that she was better than other mid options
Well if one says someone deals no damage its of course false, but I said she deals petty damage. Pretty much any other mage out damages Nu Wa. Her lacking damage is the only thing that is keeping her away from being top pick in League. She is also really dependant on her items.

If anything, they're mad that you beat them when they have this unseemly idea that they're the very best that no one ever was. =)
The Poly nerf just makes her auto towers 1 more time. That was not even close to the reason why she is so broken at pushing towers.
