Eating during run

Guys DAE have to eat during their long runs?

My long run is 1.5km, but I find I get so hungry during this that I have to stop and eat every 0.5km. I usually bring some pizza for first pit stop and then I find somewhere to poop and for the last 0.1km of my route I need extra energy so I swing by mcdonalds and get a mcflurry.

I think the real problem here is the length of your long runs. You should bring it down to 500m or something if you want to keep from getting injured.

Thanks for the advice! Actually I've decided to improve my speed by taking 6 rest days a week and only running one day now. I think it will be about 300m or so.

Nah, I just fill up my Squadbak with Guinness and use it for fuel, also takes care of the hydration quite well!

In seriousness, I have met a dude on the trail who had a camelbak full of bloody mary.

I assume you know this because he offered to share.

(If not, what a dick.)

My favorite is the second-half beer but I should include all of your suggestions in my routine as well.

As an aside, does anyone have tips for losing weight while running? My weight hasn't gone down.

Slow down! If you want to eat more food you've got to slow down your eating.
