Could be multi-boxers or botters/gilsellers
Hmm... First time I've ever seen somebody being that obvious about it.
If you stand on the wall over the southeast Rev Toll exit, you'll spot groups like this tucked into a corner on many servers at almost any time of day. Popular hiding spot for thaumbots.
Clearly a bunch of subhuman chinese botters.
We all know how you feel about the Chinese.
I've seen this a few times on my server. They are gil sellers.
Names are not allowed in screenshots, please read the subreddit rules. Thanks!
These are bots. They like to hide and put them in low traffic areas, many of them right at zone borders. Don't bother reporting them because SE will not do anything about it. I've been reporting the same group of 16 for 2 months and they're still in game.
Bots are typically banned in waves.
If you were to ban bots the moment they showed up, they would just modify their botting to make them harder to detect. Then the cycle repeats until you can no longer detect the bots.
If you ban in waves, the botter can't say for sure which of their actions lead to them getting caught. You also get to watch them and see who they interact with, allowing you to also ban other accounts that might not be so obviously flagged, for selling gil or the like.
As background: About 7 idle guys... All wearing the exact same outfits, all the exact same class and level (ARC/15). Is this a thing? Or is somebody messing with me?
Annual pointy hat convention?
What they may ultimately be doing we can't say, but it's actually not against the terms to bind multiple clients to the same inputs and drive around in a flock.
A Flock of Archers...
Sounds like the name of a band from the 80s.
