Dispersed
I dispersed your smile to the ends of the universe. Arbitrarily swept you away into the intoxicating swirl of a memory. Now I only feel you in rhythm, that insatiable ache that beats all damn day. Cast astray and I am nothing but lustful remains of poetry. What do they call a shipwreck in space? Lonely; like a speck of dust smeared between emptiness and the spray of the sun's rays. I watch the planets align like an arrow into the heart of the heavens, but still they pale when held next to your name. So strip away the veil and let my shame decay; dispersed like the ends of the universe, all ablaze in reckless flame.
