Watch Me Tremble

I am

the coldest of lovers

and the hardest of hearts.

I have never known

true happiness. Only love,

Human -- love.

 

My heaven is so weary.

There was never any light

in this godforsaken paradise.

 

So perdition, hold my hand

and linger long beside me

watch me fall away

watch me tremble

watch me rot.

Six feet underneath

the earth.
