Tokyo Game Show! :D
Went to Mirai to Terasu and it's pretty nice, not a lot of people. Beautiful projection mapping, very nice lighting. Under the rain might be much, much less fun though.
Seems really interesting. Wasn't aware this was going on but now I'm definitely going to check it out! What time did you go when there wasn't a lot of people around?
Evening, 730pm or so. Late enough for the lighting to be fun.
I actually went again today and it was still OK (not too much rain)...
Danjiri Festival in Osaka. It was today but tomorrow as well too.
I was there it was great! Seeing the kids pull as vigorously as they could, eating and drinking in between teams... 10/10 will attend again!

(ಥ﹏ಥ)
Hang in there buddy
lets hang out bro
I went to the Nakanobu Nebuta festival far too early, but also had vinegarred sake for the first time.
Gonna check out Hiroshima Oktoberfest before the Typhoon hits. :p
Tokyo Art Book Fair runs through Monday!
Going to some waterfall in Yamanashi tomorrow. If I get up early enough I'll cut the grass. Need to design the chicken coop...
Need to design the chicken coop.
The Purina Mills design is fairly good and can be scaled to however many chickens you have.
They don't have the plans up anymore, I'm guessing liability. I know what I want to build I just need to put it down on paper so I have something to work from and get the lumber for at least the coop and a small run.
i take it you want eggs and meat from these chickens?
I am most interested in eggs. I was originally going to try for quail because they mature about 3x faster, are smaller, are cute as hell, and are much MUCH quieter.
But the quail eggs I bought didn't have as much as a blood spot. And I've had blood spots off store bought eggs. So I figured something had to be wrong with the incubator so I was reading that people get 1-2 chicks per dozen fertilized eggs they hatch from fertilized eggs from Trader Joes/Whole Foods. As luck would have it our local market sells fertile eggs from "happy chickens" for about 400yen for 6. This was significantly less than I paid for shipping the quail eggs so I figured what the hell, cheap way to check the incubator. Get a dozen, see if I can get 1-2 to hatch, keep it with the quail once I get the kinks in the incubator worked out.
11 of the 12 eggs had fully formed chicks. We had 1 chick that hatched at 19 days and went full on velociraptor and I think probably drowned the 3 chicks that died in the egg while it was kicking all the eggs around. Somehow I wound up with 8 chicks when I was planning on 1-2.
So yeah - eggs and the roosters will be meeting the stew pot as soon as they start crowing. Unless the really cute chick is a rooster, I've been informed that that chick we will keep even if it's a rooster as long as it's not to noisy.
Do you have fans than downvote whatever you say or something ?
I do occasionally attract such folks yes. I don't think I have any right now I probably just pissed someone with a few alt accounts off. The rain and humidity (sweating when it's in the low 20's then shivering because my t-shirt is wet but I'm still sweating) is pissing me off.
I did get the yard cut though, just haven't bothered raking all the grass up. It'd been a month so the grass was knee high or higher.
I did get the yard cut though
Shouldn't be a problem ever again after you get chickens !!!
That is so crazy. Sweating and then being cold. Then drying off and doing it all over again. I can't wait to lose more weight to help mitigate this.
My rather rotund ass is on a "break" which basically means i got sick of eating no bread. I love bread. On a brighter note once I got the water gain from the carb load taken care of I haven't gained any more weight. Once I go off I'll drop 3-4kg within a week...
I was going to visit my grandma, but typhoon's coming this way so it got rescheduled. Now all I have is night shift at work. Does that count?
Going to an event in my apartment! It's called "Tidy Up." It's an ongoing event where I clean my apartment. All are welcome. BYOD.
I'm hosting my own too. The start time is known, but we don't know when it will finish
