This poem is short, but effective and elegant! I love how the tone is slow and steady, but not dull or drab, it's like a garden in it's own right! The little tendrils of hope at the end give it a root-y feeling, and show that just because it doesn't bear fruit doesn't mean it's worthless (roses for example)! While it does end on a sad note, it does read as more melancholy (I'm not sure if that's your intention here but it works very well!). The only thing I would change would be the first line, as it doesn't really fit in with the rest of the poem. Good job though! It's a very nice poem!

Short and sad and sweet. Really touching!

The imagery evokes a painful and wistful longing for something indefinable, it really is beautiful. I just wish you'd have stuck with the same pattern in the second stanza, in particular with regards to rhythm and form, it would have brought the emotions across more elegantly and would have sounded more sophisticated in my opinion. I don't think your piece would be restricted in any way by doing so. The second stanza was not as compressed as the first, so a bit wordy for its own good. But the first stanza is, in itself, a feat, so thank you for the beautiful words. Keep writing!

I like this one a lot. Its a little direct. My only advise would try to create the atmosphere of hurt and shame instead of telling us directly that that's what we're dealing with. The turn is nicely self-reflective though and I think shows a glimmer of hope. Which is nicely balanced here.

Nothing here will ever bear fruit

This line in the context of your poem works really, really well. It's the high point of the poem in my opinion. I also think the description of a garden of little sorrows is quite touching.

I wonder though if the line should be sweet sticky sadness or sticky sweet sadness. I feel like the latter might be better, but that's just me.

As if you have no choice. Pathetically tending to what is already willingly wrought. I'd imagine there's a lawnmower echoing in the background along with a nearby highway.
