Lore Power Level and Analysis: Galio, The Colossus

Hello guys, I am back with a analysis of the newly reworked Galio. I figured that these kinds of posts would be appreciated, as it can give the community a better insight into how powerful new champions are in the current, canon lore.
I am going to analyze him in five categories: Makeup, Physical Abilities, Magical Abilities, Weaknesses, and Feats. I will then place Galio into one of my five tier lists, explaining the placement as well.

#Galio, the Colossus

Makeup: Galio is essentially the Colossus of Rhodes with wings, guarding Demacia in time of need. He is composed of an anti-magic stone called petricite very similar to marble, which, as the label implies, resists all forms of magic. To measure Galio’s size, I used pixel measurements of his in game model and splash art in the same manner I did Malphite and Cho’Gath, determining that Galio is 104.1 feet, or 31.7 meters, in overall height. This makes him the second tallest champion in the game, after Aurelion Sol, beating out Malphite by almost 20 feet based upon my Harbinger Tier measurements.

Physical Abilities: As a 104 foot tall solid statue, Galio can pack one hell of a punch. Rioters have said the petricite is similar to marble, so for all calculations I am using the density of marble: 2.6-2.8 X 10^3 kg/m^3 or 160-177 lbs/ft^3. Using rough, and probably low end just to be safe, estimations on what his overall volume is, I determined Galio to be around 4400-4900 US tons, or 3991-4445 metric tonnes. This means Galio weighs the same as nineteen Boeing 747-8 jetliners....and can still fly, or at least lift his massive body a ways off the ground. A hit from this guy could level skyscrapers, and the force of his wings moving could probably knock down houses. Discounting the obvious giant space dragon, Galio is (most likely) the physically strongest champion in the entire game.

Magical Abilities: Galio is composed entirely of petricite, which is practically impervious to magic, so his ability to resist magic compliments his brawn on the magical end. Galio can also channel his energy to harden his skin, reducing the damage of incoming attacks, and even absorb magical energy from attacks. In addition his status as a magically imbued statue means that he is effectively immortal to age, and is seemingly immune to the erosion and decay that befalls other structures of his kind. Other than his composition, he has no magical abilities.

Weaknesses: Despite his size and his ability to lay waste to a sizable force, he has a massive weakness. He cannot be awake unless a mage is on the opposing side of a fight. In his “A Hero Wakes” Galio could not even move before the sorcerer used his magic, effectively useless. With a weakness like that, Galio is severely limited in who he can fight and when he can fight.

Feats: In his lore summary, Galio took a blast that was the combined power of five powerful Noxian mages, and all it did was make him stronger right before he turned them into dust. He is shown to take out siege engines by running through them, and clear waves of enemies purely by flapping his wings. When faced with a similarly sized opponent, Galio won with ease. When the beast threw a shoulder tackle at Galio, it broke its collarbone. While the beast used a tusk to take off a piece of Galio’s crown, his counterattack was powerful enough to send the beast into a hasty retreat.

#Summary:
Galio is a legitimate beast in the world of Runeterra, giving him top marks in term of defensive and physical power. His size and strength, combined with his extreme resistance to magic, would earn him the Transcended Tier, the latter of which would be the driving factor. However, his colossal weakness of being immobile when not in the presence of magic knocks him down to the Harbinger Tier, as this weakness makes him far less powerful in comparison to others of the Transcended Tier.
Tier: Harbinger Tier (Titan Subtier)

Thanks for reading this, I felt that just leaving the power levels alone while new champions and reworks came out would be unfair to the people who made them and made the stories to follow up.
Here is a link to the Tiers (I may or may not update them in corresponding to Galio's new lore, I might do a mass update at the end of the year):
God, Transcended, Harbinger, Magus, and Mortal
Think I overrated or underrated Galio, or have any questions on how I tiered him? Post a comment and I will try to respond. Thanks again for taking your time to read this, I will see you guys again in my next post!
