I have a question about Yasuo...
Disclaimer: I have neither positive nor negative reservations about the champion. I think his kit is really unique and that the champion itself requires a good chunk of time to understand and master. With that said though, the comments I make below are that of an individual seeking an understanding. I’m not advocating for or against the Yasuo “hate” but more trying to understand its basis. I personally feel that a lot of this hate is a bit unwarranted to the champion itself, but I’m willing to change my opinion if someone can provide me with a better argument.
To start this off, this question has been asked several times within the past month. I was looking more for a rational, non-biased (if possible) reason why this subreddit has such a horrendous disdain towards Yasuo. Is it because of his kit? The attitude of people who’ve played him? A really negative experience of playing with, as, or against him? What is it really?
There’s been posts in the past that seem to be celebratory when anything bad or nerf related happens to Yasuo. These two posts for example seem to celebrate his “disappearance” from the rift due to the 10-ban system:

I don’t seem to understand why someone would get flamed for picking him in a blind pick, or why he’ll never seem to see the light of day in the new 10 ban system (at least in the lower elo's). I personally don’t think that there is anything wrong with the champion that would put him at critical mass, but I do think that a lot of this hate is not coming from a rational basis.
