[Shielding: Clay: Gel Wraps] Back wrap by Med-X is the only adequate back wrap but there is no adequate clay pack to insert into sleeve.

The wrap and straps are one piece. There is a strap on the left side and a strap on the right side. The straps are 16" long x 6" high. The straps are the correct length for an average built person. Some brands of wraps have straps that are too long.

Velco hook is 2 1/4" long x 5" high. Velco hook is in the shape of a half circle. Not enough velco hook. I sewed a 5" long x 4" high velco hook to the strap.

The sleeve is 16" long x 7 1/4" high. The sleeve opening is 7" high and on the right side. The sleeve is slightly longer and shorter than ThermiPaq's large size clay wrap:

Gel does not shield. Gel pack is 15 inches long x 7 inches high. I replaced the gel pack with an one gallon Blue Avocado bag.

I filled half the bag with clay, water and oil. I folded the bag in half and inserted it into the sleeve. Weight is 4 pounds 8 ounces.

Wrap on back does not stay on waist. Wrap falls down to hips. Because the sleeve opening is 7 inches high, Med-X still covers the lower back. Majority of back wraps have sleeve openings that are shorter than 7 inches. The clay pack is too short. Med-X stays in position on the waist only if wrapped over a Walgreens clay wrap that is on my abdomen.

Med-X wrap on abdomen falls down the waist. Med-X stays in position as a second wrap but not as a first wrap. Wrap can shield back but not abdomen. I had to wear a Walgreens clay wrap underneath the Med-X wrap for the wrap to stay on my waist to shield my abdomen.

Two weeks later, the back wrap attenuated less. I took the Blue Avocado bag out of the sleeve. The seam at the bottom and the seam on both sides had ripped open. The water in the clay was evaporating. Clay needs to remain wet to adequately shield radar. More sabotage?

I replaced the ripped bag with a new bag. I have been wearing it day and night. The Blue Avocado bag has not ripped.

A medium size Fomentek bag can squeeze inside the sleeve if folded. Fill Fomentek one-third full with clay and oil. Do not use water.

Silicon food bags are durable. I filled two 8" long x 7" high silicon bags with clay and oil. I folded the top down to fit the bag into the sleeve. Silicon bags are tapered. The top is longer than the bottom. To prevent a large gap between the two bags, I inverted the second bag by placing it upside down. Silicon bags have a hard plastic slider. The slider of the first bag is on top of the bag. The slider of the upside down bag is on the bottom. While sleeping the slider jabbed my rib. With two silicon bags, the wrap on the abdomen falls from down the waist. The wrap on the back stays in position.

A completely filled nine inch bag is 2 1/2 inches deep plus the cap is one inch deep. Too deep to fit into Med-X. A half full nine inch ice bag fits but leaves empty space on the right side. A six inch ice bag could fit on the right side along with the 9 inch ice bag. Alternatively, two six inch ice bags fit inside. Place the bags inside with their hard plastic cap towards the front of the wrap. Away from the back. The cap is one inch deep. While sitting against the back of a chair, the depth of the cap arches the back. While laying down on one's back, the depth of the cap arches the back. Uncomfortable.
