There are a lot of polysyllabic 'complex' words in the second stanza which work thematically but make this a little sluggish to go through, although it has decent rhythm. I do struggle with the conceit though, why does simplicity conceptually lack desire? I guess if you're talking about art the more complex, intricate crafts have more life to them, but in the most general terms I dunno if that would ring true, everything is complex if investigated. Help me if I'm misunderstanding something here.

I enjoy the concept of mirroring in this poem. The stanzas relating to simplicity use simple language. And the stanza celebrating complexity is indeed more complex. 

However, I personally think that a lot of the art or poetry of this piece is lost in the second stanza. I think it's exemplifying the point you're trying to make but just in a very rigid way. I'd much rather be presented with some gripping images that convey this big message of the piece. That there is some inherent beauty or loveliness to complexity and simplicity is unfortunate because it misses a great opportunity. 

Which is a really interesting point because personally, I much prefer the stanzas that are "simple". They are more artful to me, I feel more, I think I hear your voice better. And in my mind are more effective. Which seems to be the antithesis of the piece. And is very thought-provoking; but I'm guessing in the opposite way as intended.

Ironically, you've over complicated this piece with superfluous words and that makes for a sluggish read.

I can't give you unbiased feedback because we fundamentally disagree, but I can suggest that you re-think everything you understand about art.
